Official USC 2013 Transfer Thread

@random lol.
@Kevin, did you have to draw something for a supplement or something to that department? Lol. Because dang, idk why my SGR hasn’t also disappeared into an enrollment box. LOL

@tomred Lol I had to upload my architecture portfolio via Slideroom thats about it. My SGR has not disappeared it is still listed under the application status check.

Well congrats man. Send the good SGR vibes my way. Lol

if i was accepted to USC theoretically and received a D in my statistics class, would i be resigned? SGR was not requested from me and on the catalog it says that the requirements is algebra 2 to enter into usc. I might be receiving a D in stats and i’m freaking out even though i have not heard anything from USC yet

@frankbot2000 yes and i am speaking from experience. avoid a D at all costs.

@Texasfan, do you know people who got rejected immediately without any SGR notification?

@idea23 not anyone that i knew. I only heard of a few people from usc transfer 2012 who didnt get in. But they didnt know until before June 1st. Its a real wait. You will know by then.

I had gotten accepted without a SGR

From what I hear from my college is that Marshall dpt accepted most of the student until now, and all the people who applied to Dornsife received SGR

No way all the people who applied to dornsife got sgr’rd. That would just be double work for admissions. There would have to be quite a large load of straight rejections.

@ idea23 do you know the people who applied to Dorsife that received SGR were freshman or sophomore?

I asked ppl from De-anza, Diablo Valley, Foothill and Pasadina because I got friends in there… All the people they know got SGR for Dornsife and accepted or no answer from Marshall, I hear none of someone who got rejected…

@joebsk, I didnt ask that far… sorry

Maybe because dornsife is the biggest school with the most amount of SGR’s because they have a higher volume of applicants.

@Idea I received a SGR from Marshall before acceptances went out…taking calc and writ right now

@ronaldot, well you are fulfilling your major requirements for Marshall

Anyone think it’s worth it to contact admissions and tell them about the job and internship I’ve picked up? :confused: I’ve already gotten an SGR and sent in my spring grades (a week ago).

u can upload that kind of info on usconnect @ajmy17

@idea23 I’m a sophomore transfer and got accepted into dornsife without an SGR.

I know, some people got accepted already… What I am saying is that heard of no rejection until now, just SGR
