@iloveasianguys No problem! Best of luck :)

@johnyboy Oh, well…I think if the email was from someone with a USC address, it should be legit. You can always contact someone at the admissions office just to make sure though.

How many people on me applied to Viterbi? mind telling me your stats?

Can someone who has applied as a junior be considered for acceptance as a sophomore? For example I doubt all my credits will transfer but I selected ‘junior’ status.

where did u select a status?

Yeah where did you “select” junior status?

Just found out I got a SGR. I’m a sophomore transfer (freshman at a 4-year university right now). I’m assuming most sophomore transfers get this tough huh?

@bycity94 Yeah I’m pretty sure incoming Sophomore’s are more likely. What major are you?

@alaintran9 I applied to Marshall as a BA major and to Price as a public policy major. Hby?

i feel like because i listed open as my major even though i listed my interests as business admin and my essay was about business admin and marshall, i will not hear anything for awhile

I also applied Marshall for BA!

google why you hate college confidential so much

Does anyone know the likelihood of someone getting accepted with a SGR?

@JR2013 I’m worried about the same thing. :[ I selected undecided and business as my 1st and 2nd choice major, but talked about film in my essay. I wasn’t able to apply to the film program because they have a credit minimum :l

@beachpony i emailed my councelor to see if it effects anything with admissions as far as chances and wait time. ill let you know what she says

@bycity94

as long as you do well in spring semester it’s pretty likely you’ll be accepted, at least as far as I’ve seen in previous year’s threads.

dropping GPA dramatically, not passing required pre-reqs and stuff are obviously bad things to do when you’ve got a SGR.

I get that reviewing the applications and portfolios takes time, I don’t quite get why they wait and send out some of the SGRs so late, if they’re on the fence you’d think they’d just send the request in case they needed it.

Just checked the mailbox!.. Still nothing.

WOOOOOOOO I got an SGR… I see the SGR as a pending acceptance letter haha… as long as you get good grades in the spring semester, then you will be accepted. Now I have to worry about how much money they give me :/

btw when does financial aid inform people who got SGR’s about their financial aid award?
