@MentionTim I checked my USConnect and it states:

We have requested your spring term grades. We mailed you specific instructions on how to submit your grades for expedited processing. We hope to receive the grades before June 30. We expect you will be notified of our final decision by mid-July.

@EvanSamuel2404 There’s orientation that you have to do, and you choose between a selected day in the first week or a day in the second week of July.

I also go the New msg posted on usc connect under application status…

@5nonnegotialbles I think you got an SGR. It doesn’t look like just a regular request for ‘missing’ transcripts like I got about a month ago. Another person, @hopefultrojan9 , just posted the same message.

Yea I just saw that too. Thx. I didn’t get any email from them. Do u think they sent me the request on regular mail? Do u think its a SGR or midterm grades? I can call but just asking. Maybe I’m on the border and that’s why a decision in mid-July, after they see how many other people accept?

@5nonnegotialbles I think they did mail you a postal letter as well. Didn’t you state that in your post? You posted “We mailed you specific instructions on how to submit your grades for expedited processing.” I think mid-term grades aren’t required for transfer students, just first year applicants. From what I have read on USC’s admissions website/blog, they say that spring grade requests are because they merely need more information in order to make a decision. Who knows why exactly by mid-july; my Philosophy professor, Dr. Considine who received his Ph.D from USC, tells me that USC is notorious for being the last to send out admission letters - even for grad school. What are your stats?
