@blackmamba2014 Hahaha true true. Well for the love of God, just stop Lebron! I’m sure you and Jordan could both agree on that!

lolololol @blackmamba2014 @trojfan131

@Scstang they said which decisions are going to be sent out? All Southern California Applicants?

@sanderella24 lol… SCA stands for School of Cinema Arts…

@whosnext laughing wow… I’m so ridiculous

@Sanderella24 I would say “brilliant”

Im an international transfer for SCA. can people post there stats when they received the letter?

@maymonroe94‌ @hepburn95‌ thanks for the info.

@HopeForMarshall‌ - thanks for the reply. So Basically, it’s an bad area but not as everybody makes it out to be.

@sielburt‌ even though I have never seen it in person, the campus does look beautiful from the pics. I can’t wait to see it in person :)

And, Good luck to all the SCA applicants.

Hiii, I was admitted as a psychology major on May 1st but I haven’t received my financial aid yet. Have any of you? If so, were you happy with it and did you receive any grants or scholarships?

Going off of what @SCstang mentioned a few pages back… if SCA sent out their admission decisions yesterday, that means SCA applicants in the greater LA area should be getting something in the mail today. If you’re an SCA applicant and you live in the LA area, please let us know if you get anything! I live on the central coast of California so I’m not expecting anything until this Wednesday or Thursday if SCA actually sent out their decisions.

@SCstang By no means am I trying to undermine the intel that you received yesterday, but I just called SCA and general admissions and they both have no clue about yesterday’s decision dissemination. General admissions said the ambiguous “I don’t know, but you’ll hear back by June 2nd.” And SCA responded with “they don’t all get sent out at the same time. You might hear back at the end of this week or next week.”

All in all, the admissions board at USC seems scattered, clueless, and arrogant. I don’t like how they work. SCstang, how accurate do you think your source is? It’s not that I don’t trust you - I don’t really trust them.

Apologies for a harsh tone toward USC, the school we are supposed to love.

So does anyone have any estimation of the “in” rate for SGRs? I’ve heard it’s a good sign and all, but does anybody have hard numbers from say 2012, of the people who got IN after an SGR?

@greengecko‌ she seemed pretty confident. She told me I could expect to hear by the end of this week, but if what you say is true then I would take it with a grain of salt.

I live in Northern California, and I checked my mail today - nothing from USC.

Maybe USC SCA doesn’t actually exist and it’s just a figment of our imaginations. Or maybe its some kind of advance fee scheme and we’ve all been hustled for our application fees. :-?

Is sgr a good thing?

Is anyone else finding it really hard to focus on any and every thing while waiting for their response from USC? I can’t think about anything else.

@RawShark Hahaha kinda sorta, I just wanna finish off these next two days and be done with school. Luckily I only have one actual test left, with the others being papers, so it shouldn’t be too bad. How much longer do you have left of school?

@ccstudentIL It is, just so long as you are able to cap off this semester with good grades as well. Btw, where are you going to in Illinois? Just curious, because I am also a CC student in Illinois (I go to the College of Lake County).

@RawShark‌ I know what you mean. My community college graduation is this Saturday but all I can think about is usc. I am so tired of checking connect like every five minutes. Until I hear back from usc, my thoughts are going to be about getting that response. This waiting is really torturous.
