@sielburt how difficult is that? because i got into northeastern but usc is still obviously my top choice, i just dont know if i would take that much of a chance not knowing whether ill be able to get into annenberg.

@sielburt I know you mentioned earlier that you had no changes, but has there been an update to your activity restrictions thus far?

@olo59u How can you login to oasis. it says “You have entered an invalid USC ID / Pin” when i try to login with my usc connect account. Or am I missing something here?

@olo59u it’s rare, but it isn’t unheard of. I know there was someone on this thread who applied last year, had the same thing happen, took the risk, and got into annenberg. I can’t remember their CC handle, though.

@greengecko my activity restrictions haven’t changed at all. It’s still showing 2/24/14. Which is the day I had all of my financial aid documents accounted for. My oasis star report is still showing 5/2/12 from the last time I applied. I’m about 99% sure they haven’t read/looked at my application yet.

@olo59u are you a sophomore or junior applicant? what are your first and second choice at Annenberg?

@matthiasstoopman I can’t either. Some people say it does’t mean anything. Are you applying for Annenberg?

@goforusc12 @sielburt I am a sophomore transfer with 16 units completed and am gonna have 25 completed by spring without my AP scores. My first choice was journalism and second choice was Communication. Do you guys think that my amount of units that I am transferring, given that its not that many, is the reason that my stars report says undeclared as my major?

@goforusc12 No I’m applying for School of Cinematic Arts. they say your password is you birthday MMDDYY.
But it doesnt work for me for some reason…

@olo50u what are your stats, hs/college?

@greengecko my account restrictions updated from 1/2/2014 to today at 10:30am. Does this mean something? …something good I hope.

@Rawshark We’re in the same boat. When did you submit your application and/or financial aid? My restrictions were updated today too.

@greengecko I submitted close to the deadline for both. I know my application was looked at weeks ago though because I had that phone interview with one of the professors at SCA. So, I’m wondering what this update means.

@RawShark You and I both. I hope it means something good! I would call and ask, but I know they won’t say anything substantial.

@RawShark is your stars report filled out?

@RawShark You had an interview? I never got one for some reason haha. Dont know if thats a good thing, but a director I worked with pushed me really hard on this application for SCA. So or they decided to accept me very quick or they threw it out of the window xD But I’m very confident about it, so I hope it’s positive. Especially cause I’m from Holland. I actually met some USC transfers on a party here a while back, awesome guys:)

@scahopeful No, my stars report isn’t filled out. Is yours?

@matthiasstoopman Yes, I had a phone interview a few weeks ago, but it isn’t a sign of acceptance one way or the other if you did or did not get an interview. It only means that the professor reviewing my application wanted to speak to me. Your not having an interview just means that whoever reviewed your application didn’t feel the need to talk to you directly or didn’t talk to any applicants directly. The option to conduct an interview is solely up to the person reviewing the applications they’ve been given to review.

I’m accepted at NYU. I got a SGR from USC. Should I wait for USC’s decision or enroll in NYU?

@jessebest Is this for Film & TV Production? Were you accepted to Tisch Film & TV? And it really depends on what your #1 choice is.

@scahopeful well my HS GPA was like 3.5/3.6 but my College GPA is a 4.0
I go to a SoCal CC and have all but one of the GE requirements completed
SAT was like 1850

Just joined the SGR club. Applied to Marshall as a transfer (3.8 GPA from an Orange County Community College)
