Official USC 2014 Transfer Thread

@Trojfan131 well, the dream is to do something in sports journalism/media.

@RawShark Hmm maybe it’s because you already submitted your financial aid forms and they don’t need anything else from you?

@greengecko‌ I hope so. It is true that I already sent in all my financial aid stuff months ago. Hopefully, that’s all it is.

@olo59u Nice! That’s exactly what I’m going for too!

@Trojfan131 Are you at USC right now?

Nah, I’m a sophomore applicant for Annenberg as well, and just finished my last cc final a couple of hours ago. So hopefully the teachers will submit the final grades soon, so I can send them in to USC and see if I can get this SGR into an acceptance!

If you get in Annenberg, are you doing any minors? I’m pretty interested in that Sports Media Studies minor, as that would be something that would probably be extremely enjoyable.

Yeah, I got that e-mail. It says they have all my documents under the documents received tab on USConnect as well. I’m not sure why they sent that out considering my file is complete. Is everyone else’s file complete that received the FA email?

@scahopeful‌ what does the email say? I didn’t get one.

Man, nothing has changed on my USconnect, not even my financial tab. It doesn’t even say they’ve received it yet.

@greengecko‌ Wow you are doing film! I’m very interested in film so I want to minor in film. Thanks for the advice, maybe we can study in the same school

@rawshark “Don’t Miss Out On 2014-2015 Financial Aid for Transfer Students!” and then what you need to do. It pretty much doesn’t have anything on it.

@transfer919191‌ thank you! I was stressing over nothing then. I already turned in all my FA documents.

@rawshark Exactly. Haha when it first appeared in my email my heart dropped a little cause I thought it was something important

Any Architecture majors hear anything yet? Pretty nervous over here - I can’t imagine there being too many open spots but then again, I don’t think many people apply to USC for architecture either.

What does your “Permit to Register” say in your guy’s Oasis accounts? Does it give a list of Statement of Responsibilities, where at the bottom of the page, “I have read and agree to abide by these statements of responsibility” I don’t remember seeing this page…?

So I got an SGR, but i’m afraid i’m going to have one B on my spring transcript. 3 A’s, and 1 B.

Will this destroy my chances?

I have that too @greengecko but my activities date is still the same, May 2nd.

@greengecko yes, I think I have always had that tab, just never clicked it. I don’t ever read down that far thought haha. And yes, it says the same thing.

@StayF1y‌ I’m in the same boat… I’m applying to Marshall and got a SGR. It looks like I’ll get a B in calculus unless I can get 98% on the final. Yikes. I’m worried.

By the way… Just a reminder for everyone to please post your stats if you receive an admissions decision (including SGR).
