@keepfighting1 @peaceluvtheater I was sent an SGR in early May. Sent in my spring grades June 3, enrollment commitment deposit showed up the next day and a few days later I got my acceptance package.

@missari Sorry if I missed this, but which program were you applying to, and what were your spring grades? Thanks!

@sielburt thanks!! University of Miami in Florida and University of Illinois at Chicago. None of them have an comparable reputation to USC but nevertheless it definitely helped my confidence level to receive the acceptance packages.

@almxy45 doesn’t make it any less exciting, regardless of what university it is! Good on you

@RandomNewGuy Well for me, it’s either Northeastern or USC. Did you end up being able to transfer into Anneberg?

My stars report & stars interactive audit report are filled out on Oasis. I haven’t gotten an acceptance yet. Am I safe to assume I’ve been accepted, though?

@RandomNewGuy Would you say Comm is about the same difficulty of acceptance as say, undeclared/Dornsife? Is it still pretty competitive because of people just wanting to be in Annenberg?

so any SGRs got a decision yet?

Hello. I’ve been following this thread for about 2 months now and I must say it’s been very helpful during this stressful waiting game.

I just wanted to say, I am another SCA Film Production applicant and my STARS audit report was filled out this morning. Other than this, I haven’t received any other notification or seen any changes.

Good luck to you all and may the odds be ever in your favor!

Just got my acceptance package in the mail today. Accepted as an undeclared even though I applied to Anneberg. This is gonna be a tough decision…

have any Annenberg’s heard back or gotten an SGR?

I got a letter today saying that they are wanting to see my Spring semester grades before they make a decision. Is this most likely a positive sign? I am a Communications major so I know this is one of the easier majors to get accpeted into

@olo59u What you can do is: go orientation, sign up for the classes in your major. Once you maintain a decent GPA in those classes, they’ll let you transfer in really easily.

@jojoanna That’s a spring grade request. Not sure if it’s a positive sign. It’s more of a neutral sign. Just do well this semester and you should be in the school! (I got a spring grade request as well, April 9th ish)

@asdfg789 This was my question as well. I follow this thread very closely and I don’t think I’ve read that one person has gotten an official Annenberg acceptance yet. Seems odd.

Also, question for all: does activity on your financial aid mean anything? Per Oasis, I noticed mine was last updated on 05/14, and I received an email from the FA office last week informing me they made changes/updates to my fin. aid. I am obviously not getting my hopes up because it is my understanding that fin. aid and admissions are two separate entities. However, I feel as if it’s very late to be updating the fin. aid of applicants who have been rejected. Any thoughts?

@olo59u It’s either USC or Northeastern for me too! Did you hear back from Northeastern yet?

@Jazz49 I’ve noticed that as well. And I don’t think I saw any SGRs either. I could be wrong!

@Stark42 @RawShark what are both of your stats?

@fadumbear
Stats:
Transferring from: CCC
Entering as: Junior (but OASIS says sophomore)
GPA: 3.77 cumulative (OASIS says 3.69 transferred)
Units Completed: 81
Units In Progress: 15
Units Transferred (before Spring): 61 (OASIS)
Pre-reqs Completed: Math requirement in-progress.
GE’s completed: All but language (if I have to learn spanish again over the summer to get out of a semester of language I will.) Receiving my AA and IGETC this semester. There are some discrepancies in OASIS but for the most part it’s accurate.

Subjective:
EC’s: Phi Theta Kappa, Sigma Kappa Delta, Alpha Gamma Sigma honors societies; Tae Kwon Do 3rd dan black belt; visual arts; piano.

My SCA application, I feel, could have been a lot better but that’s just me.

@RawShark congrats! Is it in your first choice major? What are year are you (i.e. how many units do you have completed?)

@GreenGecko how many units do you have completed?

congrats @olo59u!

What were your stats/EC’s if you don’t mind me asking?
