@scahopeful I tried to edit my post but it wouldnt let me. I just looked at my STARS report and my only 4 unit courses were statistics, pre-cal, and business law. They transferred over but they were essentially useless. Most of your units will transfer over but that doesnt mean you won’t have to take them over again. Disclaimer: Im talking about Marshall only. Im not sure how the other schools work.

I just called the SCA admission office, and she said she didn’t saw a decision under my name yet. So I guess the acceptance letters aren’t out yet?

Hey guys, I had received a SGR on April 30 and I sent my grades in a couple days ago and USC confirmed that they received them yesterday…on my usconnect account it changed the message to “we have received your common app and USC supplement etc. and we require no further information at this time…etc.” I talked on the phone with my admissions counselor yesterday who said that they will probably start to give admissions decisions to people who sent in SGR the first week of June-but on last year’s thread it seeme like SGR people didn’t get decisions until July 9…what do you guys think?

@Uniquegel It seems like it’s pretty split, many have received a SGR but many haven’t heard anything. I would try not to worry to much (I know that’s asking a lot). Based on the posts I’ve read, it seems that many departments/majors have not given any notification at all, so there should still be a lot of decisions coming down the pike shortly.

soooooo…within 14 days huh. I think a rejection letter would be better than being in the dark at this point. Uncertainty is killing me. It doesn’t help that me and a fellow classmate who also applied to Marshall get asked by our professor if we heard anything yet. She kind of stops the lecture in the middle of class to inquire. It is a little embarrassing.

Has anybody had the gall to ask admissions if a filled out STARS report is really an indication of anything? By anything, I just don’t mean rejection or acceptance but review, updating, etc etc. It would be good to hear it straight from the horses mouth.

@HopeForMarshall I remember somebody posting a while back that they asked an admissions officer something about OASIS and was told simply that they were not supposed to even have access in the first place. If that is true, I would be surprised if they would be willing to say anything at all about the meaning of changes in the Audit Report, Restrictions, etc.
