@Surhov818 I’m sorry but you have to be the most negative person on CC. I noticed that you had a similar outlook last year…

There were SGRs who were notified of a decision within days of sending in their grades. There were also people (not on CC) who got an acceptance for Fall 2013 in mid July last year. I know that’s a long time to wait but it just goes to show that USC does things on their own timetable. There is no set date for Spring/Fall admits, SGR’s, etc to be notified. It doesn’t work like that.

@HopeforMarshall I thought the cart was emptied for everyone (yesterday I think?) regardless of restrictions date… I simply think the cart thing is not being controlled by a specific admissions counselor putting in information for a specific applicant

@scahopeful thanks for that post. It’s making me freak out that I haven’t heard back yet! Let’s up this weekend or next!

I think we’re all going a little insane. Lol. Inevitably, everyone will eventually get a decision. So it’s pointless to guess… but the wait is SO LONG :[

so I woke up this morning and checked my restrictions and it had 6:45am 02/19/14 written on it. I proceeded to call the admissions office and asked if a decision has been made on my application and the counselor said no. I asked why it is taking so long and she said there are still many decisions left to be made this week…I checked oasis a couple hours later and my restrictions updated to 1:39 pm 05/23/14; however, my cart is not empty and my audit report is not filled out…

Just curious, any spring grade requests hear back yet? I sent in my spring grades like the second week of May but usc connect still says that “we have requested your spring grades…”

Hi everyone! I’m an Annenberg applicant with a 3.7 and lots of extra curriculars. I heard how tough it is to get accepted into Anneberg, but one can only hope haha… I’m freaking out because I have not heard a word from USC. I attack the mailman almost every morning and check USConnect obsessively. I’m trying to be patient but I’m getting nervous…
I hope this doesn’t mean a rejection. Congrats to those who worked hard to get in, you all deserve it!!

@HopeForMarshall ,I don’t know…I couldn’t log in OASIS…

From what all the past posts are saying I think it’s safe to assume if my audit report gets filled out by tomorrow morning I’m in and if not it’s a rejection…so now we play the waiting game :(

@HopeForMarshall , is it a sign of acceptance or rejection?

Hey guys sorry for the last two posts, I was having trouble getting the correct format for the link.
Does this appear to be a good sign? I believe this means my Oasis Interactive Audit report was filled out right? I know the pic is small you may need to zoom in. I’m a sophomore applicant, thanks!

For people who have sent in spring grades… Did you send an official transcript, unofficial transcript, or instructor-signed grade card? I sent in a grade card because I didn’t want to wait for my instructors to post final grades in the computer, but then I called Admissions and was told that grade cards are “not preferred”. I thought this was odd since the instructions say that grade cards are acceptable. Apparently my admissions counselor is out of the office until Wednesday… WHY ISN’T ANYTHING HAPPENING FASTER!!! Lol

Hey everyone, I was just called by an admissions counselor telling me they need my Spring Grades. I was wondering if everyone is notified through the phone or if most are notified through USConnect? Thank you:)

@dmdwelle I sent in an unofficial transcript (I called admissions and they said it’s fine for now–still may send official grades though). Also, remember that it is memorial day weekend and many people get 3 days off.

@USCfighton2485 Yes, this is what we mean by ‘filled out’. Refer to pages 265-280 where we have discussed this if you need anymore info regarding a ‘filled out’ STARS IAR.

@caliman58 Most through USConnect, some through email, some through actual mail, some through a combination of these ways

I’m thinking of making an FAQ with all the information we have gathered regarding tea leaves for admissions decisions so that people can have something to immediately refer to instead of having to search this thread and previous years’ threads. Would this be a good idea? Does anyone want something like this?

@scahopeful Share your wisdom with me oh wise one

@scahopeful Thanks for the guidance, hopefully this is a good sign! Good luck to all!

@caliman58 LMAO. Also, just wanted to add: I’m a female guys haha. I actually think it’s very interesting how most of the SCA applicants seem to be women.

@USCfighton2485 No problem

Bro you’re a member, and I’m a NEW member… I need your knowledge hahah
@scahopeful *tips fedora M’Lady and yes I think a FAQ would be very helpful after the hours of researching last years thread and this years thread for simple answers haha

I keep reading the thread and can’t figure out if having the cart empty is a good or bad thing or if it doesn’t matter -.-
