@romab93 Did you get your letter via Mail or usconect??

If it is true that not hearing back yet likely means rejection, does this mean there were hardly any Viterbi acceptances? Or has their big wave of acceptances just not come out yet?

@ SCAhopeful , did you get accepted already?

No I’m not saying it means were rejected, I’m just saying people are either rejected or spring admits and those who have SGR are still unknown( but have a higher chance of being accepted bc it means they saw your grades and liked what they saw they just want some more proof).

I’m not negative at all I’m just realistic.

This wait f***ing sucks
I called admissions to see what’s up with Viterbi & the lady was no help at all “anybody can hear anything all the way up until June 3rd”
I love USC but their admissions methodology needs some fixing…people are hearing back randomly at random days of the week & it makes others feel bad
Some don’t even hear back & find they’ve been accepted on OASIS… like c’mon USC admissions why you so derp

@EngineerGirl288 We have dispelled all of those false assumptions. If you read the last few pages, we’ve discussed how people get accepted literally up until the fall semester starts.

I think I am going to do that FAQ thread after all…

delete

@RoysGoin2College - sorry you are feeling frustrated. Yes, the transfer admission process takes an agonizingly long time. As the revered and wise @scahopeful has been advising, some transfers will not hear until mid-July. Yes, that was not a typo. Some who receive SGRs will not hear until mid-July. Mid-July. July.

As everyone knows, I love, love USC, however I too wish that they would develop a less painful and drawn out transfer admission process. The good news is that the freshman admission process was once drawn out in a similar way (waves of acceptances week after week from January through March), and it has been changed (to a scholarship wave January, everyone else on a single day in late March). Hopefully the transfer process will be similarly streamlined eventually. But it doesn’t help those of you waiting right NOW.

Here’s hoping you all get good news SOON. Continue to follow the wise scahopeful… it appears she has carefully looked at every post over the last few years and really knows her stuff :)

Good luck!

Just turned in my spring grades today, wish me luck!

Good luck, @uscindian! What format did you submit?

@dmdwelle I turned in a grade sheet with my professors signatures because my school just ended yesterday so grades haven’t even been submitted but my professors were cool so they did mine first. I got a 4.0 so hopefully this works out! Did you turn in an SGR also?

Congratulations to everybody who’s been accepted! You guys are all Trojans… so COOL!

what does it mean if 3 days ago the course cart had writing, then the next day it wasn’t there, and just now check my report and it was back in there. Good or bad news?

@uscindian yeah, I submitted a grade card yesterday. But then I called admissions and they basically said they don’t like grade cards; they want me to send unofficial transcripts instead. Annoying. Nice job on your 4.0! I was close… Got 88% in calculus. Ah well… it’s all over now except the waiting.

@Surhov818 I’m sorry to be blunt here but, SHUT UP. You keep telling people extremely negative things that could be completely false. Just because something happened LAST year, does not mean the same thing is going to happen THIS year. If you look back through the USC threads from many years past, none of them are the exact same. Please stop putting information on here that is not based in fact, it’s creating nothing but useless anxiety. You don’t work in admissions, you don’t know what is actually happening.

@scahopeful no, everybody’s cart was not emptied yesterday. My buddy who is also a Marshall applicant still had Write 140 in his cart and I didn’t. …nothing but guesses lol blaaaaaah

Lets keep it civil guys. There is no need to attack anyone on here. Be patient USC will get back to everyone in due time.

Fight on

@HopeForMarshall Yeah mine reappeared after it was completely emptied as well. I’m not worried about it because it’s completely random and non definitive.

Sidenote for newcomers/everyone in general: I agree with @hepburn95 and @stanx89. Let’s try to stay positive (quit all of the unbacked rejection talk) during this stressful time! Also, I know I didn’t really stick to my promise earlier but I’m just going to stop replying to repetitive questions. It seems like those who are asking these questions aren’t really reading the thread and page after page is being filled with useless redundancies. Really, people don’t even have to read the thread, they can just search their question at the top and I’m sure several long discussions about whatever it is they’re inquiring about will pop up within seconds.

Anyway, I’m happy to discuss new developments/ideas :)>-

Has everyone seen this video? <a href=“Visit the University of Southern California - YouTube”>Visit the University of Southern California - YouTube;

It’s so beautiful, it brings tears to my eyes.

LET US IN!!! :((

Honestly , there’s no need to attack me on a forum that’s just childish. I’m just saying my opinion .

Has anyone received a rejection letter or PDF?

@estara89 I haven’t heard back either. Annenberg applicant and I haven’t received a SGR
