Official USC 2014 Transfer Thread

@arashbh‌ No problem ~ :smiley: and it means that they’ve accessed your page at that time ^^ Do you have your Stars report or IAR filled out yet?

@irisink Check here: <a href=“USC-Articulation Agreement”>Error. There, you might be able to look up what courses transfer from your institution.

Stars report filled out the 23rd… Acceptance package came yesterday. Good luck everyone!

@irisink‌ i just checked Stars report and there was nothing to be shown!
on my interactive audit report under the “course chart” section says WRIT140!
I also have ERROR:BQ03S !!!

@irisink‌ wait till tomorrow on your stars report to update more classes I just received my acceptance on Thursday and Friday my report only put a few of my classes in and then yesterday all of my classes we accepted even my Texas government class so you should get most if not all your classes transferred.

Hi everyone. I’ve been following your conversations about OASIS and Stars Report, and I have no idea what you are talking about.

I tried looking those two things up. It looks to me like services that are only available to students already studying at USC. I recently got accepted to Marshall for Fall but I’ve never heard of or been to both OASIS and Stars Report. Is this something to be worried about?

@wgrace674‌ Hi
Use you usc id and DOB(mmddyy) to access OASIS. from there youd find all of those things,
congratulations by the way.

@wgrace674‌ Nope, you’re fine. Congrats!

@wgrace674‌ if you have already been officially notified of your acceptance then no, you have nothing to worry about. At this point we are checking OASIS only to find out if there is any indication that we might have an official acceptance on the way.

@wgrace674 The STARS IAR is not a separate entity, it is a section on OASIS. OASIS is available to anyone who is issued a USC ID (everyone who has ever applied). just google usc oasis and it should take you to the log in page. You will eventually use OASIS and WebReg while a student at USC

@ SCAhopeful did you get accepted?

@scahopeful‌ I don’t agree. I don’t have access to OASIS, and I do think it’s because I haven’t applied for financial aid. So if anyone else didn’t apply for financial aid, do you have access to OASIS?

@matthiasstoopman‌ I did not apply for financial aid and I do have access to OASIS.

@matthiasstoopman It’s not an opinion up for agreement though.

People who haven’t applied for FA can access OASIS. It’s the program USC uses for students to pay tuition, see their grades, order their transcript, gain info about health insurance, find their books, etc. WebReg is the online course catalog and registration system. Eventually, everyone (even those who can’t access it now) uses OASIS.

For admitted students, here’s a link about logging into OASIS when none of the methods mentioned here work:

@scahopeful did you get in?

@scahopeful‌ @dmdwelle‌ okay excuse me, didn’t knew that. Some other people who couldn’t login also didn’t apply for FA. so is it a glitch that some people can and some people cant? I think there should be an explanation for it…

@scahopeful did you get in?

@matthiasstoopman We (and the folks down at USC) don’t know why some people can’t log in. I remember some people couldn’t because they got in before, changed their password and didn’t remember what they changed it to.

The link I posted has something that says that some people can’t log on (using the provided method) and that they need to call the registrar’s office to get it straightened out. The problem is that many of the people who can’t log in are still waiting for a decision and therefore cannot ask the registrar to reset their pin (they won’t do it unless you are a student). Admitted students, however, should be able to have it reset.

@transferr2014 hmm… Have you been accepted? It’s weird that your ID doesn’t work.

Well I DID apply for financial aid and havent had access to Oasis for the past month. I used to be able to login now it says my usc ID isnt in their system or whatever…and yall think you guys are having issues.

@scahopeful did you get you accepted or sgrd ?
