@streakrogue It seems like it. You could receive a physical letter for an SGR in the mail soon. I got my letter in the mail today (dated May 21st) and it was on USConnect last week. Apparently, the letter didn’t make it to USPS before Thursday and the post office was closed this weekend which is why I got it today instead of last week.

@TonyStark I’m not sure about right now but you can definitely change it after your admitted (or appeal if you didn’t get your first choice). I would think not since each school has already begun evaluating applicants.

@Surhov818 this is a thread for all transfer students accepted or not, If you have a problem, please let me remind you that you do not HAVE to be here. Please be respectful of everyone else. The

@steakrogue Who did you call? At this point I just want to call and find out. I’m honestly tired of waiting jeez why is Annenberg department last?

On my USC connect, it shows that they have received all my documents and I no longer have anything under required documents after I turned in my Spring Grades on Friday. Hopefully I hear some good news soon, just trying to optimistic!

I’m starting to get discouraged because it still says they have requested my spring grades even though I sent them in a week ago, both uploaded and my official transcripts

Hey I called admissions today to make sure I had everything in. I also asked if they made a decision on my acceptance yet and they said they haven’t. Is that a good or bad thing that there still going over everything?

Is anyone interested in getting an off campus apartment / looking for a roommate? I’m 20 years old, got accepted into Marshall, like to socialize and go out but take my academics very seriously (especially factoring in the tuition). I’m not a creeper lol…let me know if anyone is interested.

For those who are still waiting on SCA decisions:
I was on the phone with someone from my department within SCA and I was told all decisions (across every major within SCA) have been made and were mailed at the tail end of last week or they were sent out today. Good luck guys!

Still have yet to hear anything, Oasis restrictions haven’t changed since April 30th… is it looking bleak? I’m losing hope after checking multiple times a day every day for the past month now…

@scahopeful You should give them a call. I just called them today about the same thing, and they did have them, it was just that they needed to update the status. The woman I was talking to was even nice enough to change the status right at that moment.

@BigbytheWolf don’t get discouraged, I sent in my official and unofficial transcripts one week ago also and they didn’t update usconnect until a few minutes ago. Other applicants have also experienced the same thing. I think we’re in for a decision within the next week, patience is key!

I can neither open the USConnect page nor log into OASIS now, so I can’t hand in deposit, or apply for housing or orientation or anything!!! freaking out.

@Surhov818 I totally agree with this guy. I have no clue why somebody admitted would still be asking questions on this site…when they could be actually contacting the admissions department and speaking with the representative there about the next steps they need to take, while asking any questions they had. Asking someone here about housing, SCA, ect…aren’t the best people to actually know the REAL info surrounding those things. The people who know 100% about housing at usc, are the actual USC housing department which yes…you can call up and ask all the questions you’re asking on here, only this time you’d totally get 100% legit answers.

Don’t get mad…i’m just saying if i got accepted i wouldn’t be on college confidential asking random applicants questions that they most likely couldn’t answer regarding my admission. I’d be calling the actual school (which by the way you can do literally right “Now”) and asking all the questions i was curious about, scheduling a date to visit USC, and contacting the financial aid department to confirm that my financial aid is going good in order to ensure i can actually attend USC this fall (or in some cases spring).

I agree with you Kyle . I find it bizarre how people who got accepted are still on this thread. Call up the school and get all the information you want. And SCA stop saying that if your restrictions updated and your graph is not filled out means nothing. I think it would mean a rejection since my friends went through it and they told me and it’s obvious . I’m just being realistic and have made other plans which all of you should do. USC is not everything, there are many successful people that didn’t go to USC.
