A lot of you think it will be over by next week but unless USC got its stuff together then its just beginning! Even for those that have not received an SGR. There is still hope!

@scahopeful NVM, I thought that was the number for Spring from last years thread.

Yeah, I think the 20133 has something to do with me applying last year, or maybe its a typo, but hopefully I am in. As stated previously I don’t think they would go out their way to update my profile if I was not accepted.

@scahopeful Congrats!!!

@Ngarcia3 I think it had something to do with my admissions counselor. I currently attend a small private university, so maybe that had something to do with it. Either way, its fillled out and I am excited!!! :D… I hope everyone gets in!! Though I know that is not the reality.

How do you get access to STARS and Oasis? I am new to all this.

@lilmoe2014 Go here: https://camel2.usc.edu/oasis/Login.aspx?

Type in your USC ID (found at USConnect)
And the password is your bday… mmddyyyy

@FreeByrd27 Thanks, and congrats to you as well :)

@ngarcia3 thank you!

@tamoorc I previously had 3Ws, but I have had an upward trend since then. Just stay positive, and hopefully good things will happen.

@wgrace674 thank you so much! that really helped. My first choice is Marshall and second Econ/Math in Dornsife. Although I would still attend with my second I am really hoping to be apart of Marshall. I see that you got accepted, congrats!

@scahopeful No I have yet to send them in, that’s why I found it so strange. I only have 3/6 grades finalized, I’m getting extremely frustrated with my professors because I have been out of school for a week now.

I got my acceptance packet today. Officially offered admission for Spring, 2015 for Marshall. Good luck.

@HopeForMarshall - Congratulations and good for you!

Does anyone have any stats/what history suggests on how many people get rejected AFTER previously being given an SGR? Doesn’t seem like any, barring a massive drop in grades, actually end up getting rejected. But I may be wrong!

If anyone is worrying about their W’s, I have 9 W’s over a span of about 5 years and got into USC and UCLA. Most of my W’s were from 3-4 years ago (because of work). I was actually surprised I got into USC (Dornsife). Good luck everyone.

Hi guys,

I emailed my counselor asking whether a decision has been made. He told me that my admission decision was mailed yesterday and I should hear by tomorrow. DOES IT MEAN THAT I HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED??

I wonder is there any of you that got a “MAILED” rejection ???

@alohaloha Should have asked how big the package was hahaha. I’m not sure there’s any way to tell if it’s an acceptance or a rejection, but I will certainly wish you good luck. This must be an exhilarating time, even if you don’t know the decision yet.

Congrats to you @HopeForMarshall ! If an IAR filled up means I’m in, I’ll see you @ USC in spring.

hahahaha I should have asked! I am sooo nervous right now. Well let’s see what comes in the mailbox tomorrow. @Trojfan131

@alohaloha SOUNDS like you may have gotten in! Although, I remember for freshman they did mail out rejection letters as well, just something to keep in mind but I haven’t heard of any transfer receiving a rejection letter mailed so far.

They do mail out rejections not just acceptances
