@successiA i got my SGR on 5/28 got accepted on 5/30

Well then my theory of going in order is wrong, haha. Congrats @Ecort14!

@gabbyrrr ok so I submitted my app late, like maybe the day before the “extended deadline” and got my sgr on 4/26… Early. How about u? Where r u transferring from?

@gabbyrrr thank you! I truly believe its based on the amount of space they have in each school. How was your GPA for your SGR?

Deleted.

@5nonnegotiables I submitted my app like two days before the deadline and got an SGR on 5/13. I’m transferring from a CC! you?

@Ecort14 Oh that’s true, hopefully there is still space in Marshall! I got a 3.8 which brought up my overall gpa by a tiny bit. And an A in Calc which is a requirement for Marshall.

@spottedgiraffes

I submitted /uploaded my grades last Thursday. I applied as a political science major

@gabbyrrr that A in calc i feel is almost mandatory. Me and my friend had the same GPA but he got a B in our Calc class and hes still waiting for a decision. Have you checked Oasis?

@Ecort14 I know! I worked hard for that A and only took calc for SC. Yeah, everything is still the generic stuff but my restrictions haven’t been updated since the day I turned in my app, which is weird…
They only received my grades last wednesday so it hasn’t been tooooo long but I have noticed acceptances followed quickly…

@Ecort14, @gabbyrrr It is not mandatory to get an A for Calculus. A few accepted transfer applicant got in with a C.

This is going to be such a stressful wait for July decisions

@MarshallBound dude that’s so good to hear. Really hoping my friend gets in!

I have hope and am losing hope at the same time.

@MarshallBound how long did it take for you to get your financial aid package after you got accepted?

@MarshallBound They got into Marshall? The rest of their application most have been really good! For me however i think i needed that A. My overall gpa is a 3.6 so not as high as everyone else.

@5nonnegotiables ughhh yes that’s exactly how I feel.

You guys should check USConnect now, they update it everyday at midnight and since today is the deadline I imagine many of you will have decisions waiting for you.

Was hoping for an update on OASIS or USConnect, but instead, another verification for financial aid

@Ecort14 Unfortunately, I didn’t get an acceptance, but I am going to appeal though.

@gabbyrrr Yes. If you go through the 2012-2013 transfer threads you will find a few transfer applicants get accepted. USC reviews each transfer applicant holistically; therefore, it isn’t just about grades.

Just checked, no decision for me

@MarshallBound Oh you’re right! I do remember seeing those. Good luck on your appeal btw! Hope it turns out well for you

checked at midnight. No update yet on usconnect. lol maybe they forgot about me!
