Official USC 2014 Transfer Thread

@scahopeful No I don’t see that option on my USConnect. Hmm that’s odd. What do you think it means?

@scahopeful‌ I also do not have that bubble on USConnect. It is not under any of the tabs. I applied to Viterbi as a chemical engineering major.

Anyone have any ideas about the question I asked? I was accepted to an internship over the summer at USC and wasnt sure if that informatino was important enough to send it to admissions. I was thinking to keep that information in the event that I was rejected and use that in an appeal letter?

Also, I have a button that says “Click here to submit your midyear grades” I haven’t finished the semester yet, so I don’t submit anything correct? That is for after the semester is finished?

Some people hear back in April. It’s not unheard of. Most people won’t hear anything until closer to Memorial Day. You guys will go insane if you start wondering about this stuff.

I try to tell them @RandomNewGuy‌

@mochabubble i say don’t let them know about the internship yet 'cause most likely they won’t take it into consideration at this point, it’s too late. and yes, unless informed by usc, you don’t need to send in a mid-year report

@ymjones777 i also wonder did your son received his financial aid yet?

@lkm291‌ no. No info on the aid yet that’s one of the reasons I came searching on here to see if anyone else that got accepted did. Anxious to see what it will be.

@epicer No, this is the internet. The internet is full of liars and trolls. Therefore, his son’s admission is false until proven to be true with pictures of the acceptance letter or cropped screenshot of his USConnect. Why would he lie? Are you new to the internet? He’d lie to ■■■■■ & start stuff. Which he has, just look at how long my post is.

If I got in I would provide all of you proof. Not to brag at all but simply to show that acceptances are being sent & give some people hope. Getting into USC is a big deal for me & some of us in this thread.

I’d also provide proof if I was rejected.

It is my understanding that they will extend acceptances to the strongest transfer students first. My guess is that ymjones777’s son has very high stats.

@ymjones777 Thanks! Good luck!

Thanks to all of you who give are giving me benefit of the doubt. I don’t know how to post it on here but if anyone wants to provide their email I will email them screenshots of uscconnect and the acceptance letter that came in the mail…lol…

OK I just sent @RoysGoin2College‌ some proof and stats hopefully he can vouch for me now? Lol…

ahahahahah daaaang @RoysGoin2College‌ relax dude. @ymjones777‌ you don’t have to send anybody anything. Congratulations on your acceptance!!!

@epicer lol I didn’t intend to “demand” anything, just curious as to whether @ymjones777 could provide a picture or not, now if she can’t or doesn’t want to then that’s fine I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt!
Also, it is very true that they give out straight acceptances first followed by the majority of SGRs followed by rejections. I’m curious @ymjones777 what were your son’s stats? Such as GPA and SAT scores?

I sent the info to Roy so I’m expecting him to vouch for me now. My son cumulative GPA is 3.78 and current is 4.0 well see at end of semester what it ends up. I don’t even remember what his say scores were. That was three years ago. He only took it once and did decent on it… Decent enough he didn’t want to

Take it again.

It is legit guys… congratulations to your son @ymjones777‌!
Sorry for being a jerk

Lol… At least it’s settled. :stuck_out_tongue:
I hope you all hear soon and get great news. Who knows the method to their madness. Everyone’s story is different so it’s hard to compare one to the other. Wish you all best of luck!
