@pumalover34 I accepted admission to UT Austin last week for CS in CNS. I’m going to go there assuming I get a good financial aid package. Their CS program is far better than USC so I prefer UT AUstin.
Ah another eager Annenberg applicant here who also has heard nothing!
Comm. major and I chose psychology as my second choice.
Here are my stats:
3.65 GPA w/ 60 units complete.
Coming from a Los Angeles cc.
Completed PR internship, worked in production, worked as an actress on multiple shows, worked full time as a secretary for a reputable company.
I think my essays are pretty solid. Does anyone know which essay(s) is weighted the most? Does USC even read the common app essay or just the ones on there application? I wrote one essay for the common app, two for usc, and one for Annenberg.
Goodluck to alll the other Annenberg applicants!!!
Slight rant…being that my major requires chem, math, and a language, it’s frustrating that I still have to take placement tests for all of them, despite transferring with the appropriate prerequisites completed.
@MedicMatt Does everyone have to take placement tests ???
Marshall transfers, could you tell us your stats please??
@JMag95 Hey, congrats & hook em’! I currently attend UT – Man, I have a couple friends in the CS program right now and you better believe its one hell of a program with some insanely challenging course work. Good luck! Have you by any chance heard back from USC yourself?
@pumalover34 I haven’t heard anything from USC yet
@ForeverGymnast21 I didn’t get anything either
@ForeverGymnast21 Same! I check my mailbox as soon as my mailman delivers it too, lol.
Is it possible to get accepted in a different school even if you chose both of your majors in one school? (Ex. Choosing two majors in Annenberg and getting accepted into Dornsife)
@ajw14f I’m fairly confident that you can only get accepted under the majors you apply for.
USC called me this morning while I was sleeping. I have no idea why, they didn’t even leave a voicemail! Anyone else get any calls?
@cs2015 What is your major? Some Film students got calls regarding their applications.
@jasmine2468 My major is biology!
@cs2015 You should call them and see. Maybe they are missing some documents that they need from you.
@TonyStark93 Depends on your major. If your major involves math, chem, or a language yes. Also, I’m transferring as a sophomore, so I’m not sure if that makes a difference.
I wish they would tell us the chances of getting accepted looking at our GPA, units completed and major. We don’t know what to expect, well we know the average transfer GPA is 3.7.
accepted!! <3
ill post my stats on the other page ~
what other page?
