Hey guys! Just got an SGR. I was just wondering if anyone knew what an SGR really means? Like I know it’s obviously better than a straight out rejection, but like what percentage of people that get an SGR are ultimately accepted? Like if I do well this last quarter in decently difficult classes (Bio,Calc and writing), am I in? Just don’t want to be getting my hopes up, because I think a 4.0 this last quarter is possible.
@daisy1996 There is no definite answer to that. Some SGR people hear instantly, while others wait longer. It all depends on each case and the department dealing with your applications.

Viterbi applicant here and I haven’t gotten anything back yet. Checked some of the old transfer threads and it seems we usually hear back in the last possible week, aka 25th-31st…

@HappyLifeMachine no way!! I had a dream I got in last night too. I dreamt my whole YouSC changed and I could click different classes and I could view new things on my financial aid section. When I woke up I logged in and it was the same… Bummer

I am a Dornsife applicant and I still have not heard ANYTHING!!!
No SGR, no Acceptance, NOTHING
My restriction and audit report dates are still the same too…
Applied as dornsife for both first and second major choices, and I still haven’t heard anything yet.
I have four W, and I still got SGR. So for some of you only have 1 or 2 W, take it easy, you would be fine
I could log onto my oasis but my restriction was last active 4/30? Also my star audit is blank. Is that bad?
@hdahjuhshi I have a 3.85 GPA from a private university and am pre-accounting as well. Hopefully we both will hear back soon.
Hey guys! So I just logged into my portal and there is a new link that wasn’t there earlier today that says “click here to submit mid-year grades”… Does this mean I got SGR’d??
Got accepted yesterday! I received a letter in the mail only about 2 hours after I got a rejection email from NYU, life is pretty crazy… I am an SCA major going into Film and Television Production! Nothing changed on my youSC (and I’m pretty sure it still hasn’t) just happened to find a nice surprise in my mailbox on a day that started out in the worst possible way haha
