@ahahanjun Congrats!! Do you know if there were any changes in Oasis prior to the admission notice?
Do you guys think it’s absolutely terrible that I chose CR/NC for my foreign language requirement this semester? I only did it so that I can learn it comfortably cause I want to retake my second semester of lang at USC instead of immediately testing into the third level.
I am a sophomore applicant to dornsife and I got my SGR April 28!
I am a sophomore applicant to dornsife and I got my SGR April 28!
I am also TTP sophomore as well idk if that means anything
Lol I would be 100% at ease if I was on the TTP. Just complete your courses with a 3.5 gpa and you’re in right?
Hey guys ! I sent my spring grades yesterday having been given SGR on April 28. My school’s official transcript sending system said it would take two weeks to process and send. I ordered one to send to USC but uploaded an unofficial transcript to you.usc to speed up the process . Is that okay ? I ordered my official transcript to be sent to undergraduate admission office on university park center
Well there’s no garuntee “in” but it should help I believe
@nicoley125 I am a neuroscience major, I got a spring grade request late april. I am applying as a sophomore; currently a freshman at a community college
How many SGR are accepted?
@emwrbrtn I sent my unofficial transcript online some time ago (because sending the official takes weeks) and havent heard anything. I’m dornsife applicat SGR’d on May 1st. I’m a sophmore transfer. No access to Oasis (like it matters hahahah)
Do you guys think theres a pattern between when you get an SGR and getting accepted? (like earlier SGR’s are more likely to get accepted?) It sounds weird but I remember reading that somewhere on this thread or last year’s.
Also, on last years thread, people would send in their transcripts and then like 5 days later get a response. I sure hope thats the system we get this year :((
^ I would be really sad if that is the case (likely to get accepted because of early SGR).
My semester ends mid June and I won’t be able to have official grades until late June…
You all are so lucky! I’m definitely getting my decision last, lol.
@chunkymonkey29 @1hellohello1 @ForeverGymnast21
I’m also waiting for Marshall, I kinda gave up hope. I will perfect my application for next year and apply to better schools since I have a 4.0, a broad variety of work experience, and extra activities.
Nobody responded to my post. Does that mean no one has anything to say? No comments? Are there any international students on this thread to share their perspective at least? Thanks. @RAHforHEE sorry to tag you, but you seem to be very articulate with your responses and you’re already accepted, so I was wondering if you have any thoughts on my situation. Should I bother applying again next year?
@mochibbycake Yeah, I thought it was weird because some people don’t end school until June so really it would be unfair to favor a Semester System applicant’s SGR and disregard one from a quarter system applicant. I’m just thinkin positive now! you know some people heard back without even sending grades in
QUESTION!!!
If you took a class that wasn’t on USC’S transferable course list does that mean the grade you got in that class doesn’t count towards you “Transfer GPA” that they look at?
@jasmine2468 No idea about Oasis. Haven’t really looked much into the Oasis-related discussion that you guys had haha
@hoping4SC based off my stars report, I think you are correct in that they do not count towards the transfer gpa, however I would imagine they still use them to help make a decision.
@webo21 there was a message in my yousc, no physical letter
So glad Labor Day is over and admissions office is back tomorrow with possible decisions
