@usc4mepls Thank you. Dont forget to tag me when you get accepted!
Can anyone specify what the financial aid email says?
It does say by postal mail, so it might come roughly around the same time as the would be acceptance packet. Not sure how they handle the SGR situaion though :\
@jamiethuy you too my friend(: good luck !
I had a 3.75 my freshman year at a competitive private school in the NE and have had a bunch of unique EC’s and Reccs. I have not received a formal request for grades from USC should I be concerned?
here’s something interesting on last years thread

“I got a Spring Grade Request almost 2 months ago and they got back to me yesterday without even looking at my Spring Grade by giving me a conditional acceptance. Hopefully the same thing happens for you. I don’t know how they handle the SGRs, it seems a bit weird. But, I’m not complaining .”
Congrats @RobinBlake. Does anyone know when the majority of rejections are usually given out.
Do people realize that there is a difference between asking for your spring grades in an informal letter from Kirk Brennan and a very formally written letter specifically addressed to a student urging for Spring grades? I received the former and my friend from HS showed me the latter which I did not receive.
@RobinBlake do you mind posting your stats?
@urirahimi does your letter have a title along the lines of “missing documentation”. my letter was also from kirk brennan
Would my counselor tell me to send my spring grades to him even though I’m rejected? I haven’t heard anything yet but i emailed regarding sending spring grades and he replied on Tuesday saying that I could send them. Do you think this is any indication of anything? I’m an Annenberg applicant
@cs2015 I recieved the financial aid email as well last night! Do you live in the LA area? I live in the bay area, so it might take an extra day or so to get up here.
I live less than a 10 minute walk from USC, and I still haven’t heard anything from them. I’m a sophomore transfer with my last two GEs in progress, and at this point I can only assume that I’ve been rejected.
@deathproof627 Same!. I live by culver city, sophomore transfer, completed 3 GE’s but have not heard anything at all. At least we can apply next year.
I can log into my USC Oasis but in my STARS Report it states that it is unavailable. Does this mean I’m not in?
I’m already starting to admit that I am rejected although there is no permanent letter that says so :’(
@plzuscplz What does your restrictions date say? That might offer a better clue.
Does your guys’ financial aid email say this?
"WHY WE’RE WRITING YOU:
You may still be eligible for financial aid, even though the priority deadlines have passed.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
If you have not started your financial aid application, be sure to follow all the steps below. Otherwise, please log in to you.usc.edu to check the status of your application or find out if there are any next steps you need to take. "
I got this email on May 14.
This what cs2015 posted a few pages back:
“it says they are currently reviewing my financial aid application and that they will email me to inform me when my application/summary is ready. Also, it says that when I receive my summary, it will list the aid I am eligible for and the steps I will need to take to receive it.”
It sounds a little different. I didn’t get any kind of email like that either.
@zettasyntax my oasis works. My stars report is unavailable. But it says I have no restrictions as of this morning. Does that mean anything?
@zettasyntax Thank you, I actually don’t have a financial aid application so I don’t think I would get this email anyway.
