@tak9usc @RAHforHEE So you guys called the admissions office or your admissions counselor? And they confirmed that if we did submit our official/unofficial spring grades before June 1 then we’ll probably get a decision sooner? The advisors that I’ve spoken to have always given me the generic “early July or sooner” answer so this is pretty new information.
My admission counselor just emailed me and said that I will hear back “very very shortly” and to look out on my you usc portal or the mail. AHHH!! I’m an SGR applicant btw applying for Dornsife.
super jealous. my school JUST finished today. so I wont know my official grades until next week the earliest + 1 week for usc to evaluate hahha,…

One of my friends from an out of state school in Texas got accepted last week as a sophomore. I go to a school right across town from his and still havent heard back! We both have the same major too
@collegebeans I didn’t call, I have already been admitted. My friend got an SGR and he sent in his grades a few days ago, called because he was curious as to why his portal hadn’t updated in letting him know they received the transcripts, and then he also asked when might he hear back when the woman told him they got his transcripts (he called today, and she said they just got his transcripts today). She said he may not hear back by June 1st, but he can hear back as early as next week.

Accepted to Marshall!!! I had a 3.75 GPA, but will likely get a 3.6 this spring semester. Do you guys think that is fine or is it too low? Do they rescind acceptances if your spring grades are not as good? Thanks guys!

Has anyone heard about transfer merit scholarships? Also does the acceptance date have anything to do with scholarships? I got accepted back on May 1st.

Received the packet in the mail today and still no update on YouSC. I still cannot believe this. I was rejected by almost all UCs and I honestly thought I had no chance on USC. I have been anxiously waiting for decisions yet I was pretty certain that I would not be admitted to USC. I attended 4 years uni for one year then CC for another year and the combined gpa when I applied is 3.58. No oasis access. My stat is #104 posted on decisions thread on page 7 if anyone is interested. Good luck to anyone that is still waiting for decisions and don’t lose hope!
Been lurking on this thread for a while. I’m an SCA applicant for film&tv production. Still no word yet, but I did get accepted to Chapman today. So at least I have somewhere to go. Reeeaaally want to attend USC though.
