My restrictions on OASIS was updated on the 29th and I still haven’t heard an acceptance or rejection from my portal or gotten anything from my mailbox…
My STARS report isn’t updated either.
Does this mean I’ll most likely get rejected?
Mail came again and nothing… Grrrr
My portal just changed from the we have requested your spring grades back to we will try and notify all transfers by June 1. Did that happen to anyone else?
@jheintz it happened to me, but I already got my mail and no decision. So…
did anyone else’s financial aid message chance (SGR applicant)?
I’m sorry I know this has already been said but what do you use as your password for oasis?
mm/dd/yyyy or mm/dd/yy
So why some people did not hear yet? Any theory on that?
Anyone get accepted and still hasn’t had their portal updated?
@jheintz yah mine did that!!! I’m freaking out though because I submitted my grades May 27 and haven’t heard back yet and others have!
@Mustang012 a few people have! Just look through the thread a few pages back
I guess the rest of us who have not heard back, we can hope to hear in the coming weeks. I just hope none of us have to wait till July cause that is just brutal. Good Luck guys! Hope the best and prepare for the worst
@Shortstop3 Which college and major did you apply for? Has anyone that has not been SGRed still not heard back yet like me?
Most SGR’s won’t hear back until the end of June. So you can hear back from now up until the end of June. Of course, it is all relative to when you sent in your spring grades and the admissions committee.
@sunita18 thanks.
So what is oasis and how can I get one? I’m sorry if it’s been asked before.
Also, this has been posted on the Facebook page about merit scholarships:
“The Office of Admission has completed the review process for Transfer Merit Scholarships. All scholarship recipients have been notified via postal mail and the youSC website at http://you.usc.edu. Financial aid may still be available for students who qualify, even though the priority deadlines have passed. For more information, please visit the Financial Aid website at http://www.usc.edu/financialaid”
@Mustang012 Honestly I’m not 100% sure but from browsing basically most of these posts it’s just something that can be used as an indicator for admission as an applicant and then more stuff when you’re actually an accepted student! I googled USC OASIS and I tried that website and I couldn’t log in but a lot of applicants don’t have access so I wouldn’t sweat it if anything I think it makes people more paranoid!!!
@RAHforHEE I just called admissions about 20mins ago and I asked if all my documents had been received( sent in grades May 27) and she said I should be getting my decision shortly so fingers crossed!!! Super nervous right now but I’m sure you guys won’t have to wait till Mid July or even end of June if you have already submitted your grades

@USCGirl17 Business Administration. Got an SGR on May 2nd and sent in grades on May 14th. I have a 4.0 GPA with calc, English, and two GE’s done (33 units). Not sure why it’s taking so long since people sent in grades later and already have decisions. The wait is killing me!
@Shortstop3 you should call! That’s what I did and just be like “oh just wanted to make sure you guys received my grades and when I will be hearing back”
