Anybody admitted that can’t apply for orientation? I didn’t even receive and e-mail about my USC NET ID, I had to call and they told me how to manually get one.
Anyone know the formal process to appeal financial aid? I’ve been looking online but nada…
@poisonx I’ve seen some threads about it on here. Have you tried messaging the users? None of them seem to detail how they did their appeal, but some of them did have success stories. I definitely recall someone in this thread (or maybe it was a separate thread) that definitely wanted to appeal because he needed to pay over 20K out of pocket while having a relatively low EFC (I think it was even 0). I hope he had luck with that =\
I received the golden packet today and got in for the fall 2015 semester! My restrictions changed yesterday but my STARS report is still empty.
@Hurricane9999 Congrats!! Did you get any request financial aid documents before? and if yes, when? And when is your letter dated?
@jasmine2468 I received a financial aid email asking for the ability to benefit on June 9th. The letter was dated June 9th also.
@zettasyntax Thanks. I just figured out how. To anyone wondering how you can appeal your financial aid package to to you.usc > apply for financial aid > document library. You’ll then see a list of forms you can upload to appeal your FA package.
@zettasyntax ohh ok. I read the same thing somewhere but I wanted to see if other people were doing the same thing. Thank you!
So your restrictions changed after you got accepted. That’s a first. Do you live in LA? @Hurricane9999
@Shortstop3 so if I were to defer for a year I wouldn’t be able to? Not even at a CC?
I GOT MY GOLDEN TACO TODAY!
I guess the financial aid email was an indicator of acceptance
I got in Annenberg for Fall 2015, i’ll post everything on the other page <3 I’M SO HAPPY
@jasmine2468 I never had access to OASIS so I don’t know if my restrictions changed or not
@jasmine2468 I live in Alabama.
@Mustang012 that would be correct

Here is the deferral form.
so USC received my official transcript couple days ago however i still have the SGR on my history and a required transcript on my documents page
anyone else going through with this
I’m a spring admit for Marshall and was wondering how I should go about finding roommates for most likely living in Lorenzo? Or is it to early?
@zettasyntax Can you explain to me how you waived your enrollment fee please?
I am really excited to be a Trojan in the fall and I did not think I was going to be able to attend due to the hefty price tag however between the grants and scholarships that I have been offered I will only have to pay for a place to stay and my food. I was wondering, if I stay constant with my grades and such can I expect this aid to continue in the subsequent years to come? Also I would like to know how you waived your enrollment fee as well… thank you
@lordfx Generally, financial aid decreases the longer the student is enrolled. Also, waiving the enrollment fee is nearly impossible unless you can demonstrate financial hardship (they contact your FA counselor to verify).
@lordfx Congrats! I was offered a grant that covers for 85% of tuition, so that’s not too bad. What is your USC determined EFC?
@sunita18 I was considering Lorenzo/University Gateway for a little bit, then I came across their Yelp page. Doesn’t sound too promising
I sent in corrections for my CSS/Profile app so hopefully that changes things a bi
