The packets are mailed Priority. My oldest graduated from Thornton in May, and my youngest is waiting to hear from Marshall. Good luck to all!

Since you are from NY I think the online decisions may come out before an admissions letter does. Sorry to say, but the California kids are much more likely to find out acceptances/rejections a couple days before NY kids do (I am currently a freshman at USC from Southern California and I got my decision in the mail a few days before any of my friends on the east coast did last year…)
A job? Like a regular desk job? No, he’s a musician! (Seriously, he was in the Popular music program, not classical) Lot’s of exciting things/projects happening, though. He’s doing what he needs to be doing.
I was rejected to ucsb. Might appeal though. Even more anxious now. My older sister tells me I need to stop going on this website because it makes it worse! Lol
Do international students get those packets then?
Don’t think I’m going to check my mail before online! Don’t want to see a thin letter in the mail and automatically know :-SS
@Digitallyshrewd yeah i’m wondering the same thing… i think we’ll just have to check the portal on the 27th to find out.
@natasham I guess so, but it’d be awesome to find the packet in the mail. Wish we do get it.
@Digitallyshrewd @natasham I think we get both! but it will probably take longer (Im applying all the way from Dubai haha) so I guess we would just check portal and wait for a package. 
I’m also a Mom of '13 Thornton grad and she interned and then took a position at Universal Film Music, a Mom of '12 Cinema grad working for a major production company and we are now in the waiting mode for hopefully a third Trojan!

Also wondering— is anyone taking a reaction video for the colleges? Mine’s a bit depressing so far (since my last threes were all rejections) but hopefully I will be jumping in joy on my other ones… especially USC XD crosses fingers

@gamink348 My dad stays at home and I s aid that if he checks the mail and its a letter from usc he has to film my reaction.
I think its nice to watch reaction videos even if they are happy or sad. For the people that get rejected, sometimes watching a rejection videos helps you feel better. Though I wouldn’t recommend watching acceptance videos if you were rejected.
I’m going crazy imagining a million different situations where I get accepted/rejected…
Whatever happens, I’m just gonna wear my USC hoodie to bed and hope for the best.
@Digitallyshrewd @joelleweb yeah i think we will get one too, but probably much later. my friend got into NYU ED II and got his email on December 15th, but his package a week later haha. but i hope we get it good luck to you two!
