@Newsie2015 yes mine looks like that.

I think I’ll probably be rejected. I applied to Roski for art, and heard it has a super low acceptance rate.
I have a very low SAT score, and a pretty average A-level grades: with predicted A*, A, A, B C
UCLA already rejected me, so I’m expecting the same from USC, though I would love to go there.
The mail’s also gonna arrive slower than in the USA when I live in China, is it?
God. It’s torturing me.
I’m betting waitlist. It would be my fourth one… I’m on a roll
There’s no waitlist
really @apples90049
@Soapymango instead of a “waitlist” they admit you into the spring.
If I got rejected and wanted to try to attend in the spring, do I have to reapply and everything?
@SoapyMango
Yeah it’s either spring admit or you get a rejection letter and at the end it says something like you’re part of a group of students we’d really like to see transfer here in the next two or three semesters please come and meet with our counselors this summer to set up a transfer plan.
@apples90049, not every rejection letter has the “Trojan Transfer Plan”. Of course, everyone can try to transfer in their sophomore year, but “Trojan Transfer Plan” seems to guarantee acceptance if you meet all the requirements set out by the plan.
@tinyone no If you get rejected you don’t get the opportunity to try and come in the spring unfortunately
Spring admits will get a big acceptance package this week just like the fall admits
So if it says denied next to USC on naviance, is it likely you’re denied?
Question, for those who applied or art and drama or dancing and stuff, how do you guys apply? Do you have to fly to LA and audition, do you send in a video? Do you have to scan your art? I’ve been wondering that for a while now.
is USC easier to get into than UCLA?
A few years ago, USC accepted appeals from denied students. Not sure if they still do that…
Our Naviance stills says unknown but I thought it changed once you brought the letter in to the school. Didn’t think there was any direct correlation from the colleges.
@Legacymom what do you mean???
@Itsdomoo No, I only needed to upload a portfolio on a website called slideroom, that almost all art schools use to review our work.
Other than that there were a couple of supplement essays I needed to write for Roski on the Common App.
Don’t know about drama or other performance arts though.
@jancoisdead When my first 2 sons applied in 2010 and 2012 (they were both accepted) there were discussions about how to appeal if you are denied. There were even some threads with advice and, if I recall, even some results. I don’t know if USC has changed policies in the last 3 years. But it is worth looking into if you get denied. Good luck to everyone and Fight On!
