<p>I never received any e-mail from UVA, but upon checking my profile today FAFSA 2011-2012 appeared under my “To-Do” list. I wonder if this is a sign…</p>
<p>Haha well to be fair I was always too sad to post anything after getting rejected so I can see why they wouldn’t T_T
I’m also not sure if they got additional documents (not sure for all of them) or if they only had the “Financial Aid Application” aka FAFSA and CSS when they say they have to-do’s which could also be misleading…I remember I got rejected last year and I had the Financial Aid Application on my to-do list but nothing else (no additional documents due at a later date than May 1st) soo maybeeeeeee still don’t really want to think about it but that is all I’m doing…hahaha ahhhhhhh</p>
<p>Hi everyone, I am so nervous… I was admitted by Umich college of engineering and they asked me to pay my deposit before May 1st. Although I have written an email to ask for an extension, I still want to have more offers before I can make my final decision, so UVA is really important for me, hope I can see the decision this Friday… Which one do you think is better, umich engineering or UVA(probably b-school in my junior year)？ By the way I have also applied for Ross.</p>
<p>I had “eligble for in state” a long time ago and went from a circle to a check about three weeks ago. Did not apply for FinAid so no “to dos” on my list. No adviser assigned. Does that mean I’m rejected?</p>
<p>LOL Oh gosh, I don’t think anyone should take our “theories” seriously. I think we’re all just nitpicking every possible detail because they don’t give us any clues until May 1st! Also, according to our check circle theory…absolutely nothing can be concluded about your acceptance or not because we basically just decided it means a decision has been made haha and since you didn’t apply for finaid, you wouldn’t get any to-do’s! Also, no one gets an advisor assigned and everyone can search for classes and is either eligible or not eligible for in-state. </p>
<p>@lcovke you can always request a fee refund if you decide to attend another school! Even though you’re not guaranteed to get it back, at least you’ll have somewhere to go just in case. I’m pretty sure UVA’s McIntire is better but a lot harder to get into so if you’re confident you can get in then I would choose UVA. But I really have no idea about UMich’s program so who knows…haha</p>

<p>Hm, I read in the 2011 forum that a freshman that got waitlisted her first year didn’t have anything in her To-Do’s. It may be different for freshman applicants though. 24 hours till he may or may not post on his blog!</p>

<p>So I got a letter in the mail saying a signature was missing on one of my forms for financial aid, does that count as a to do??..Did you guys get the to-do’s around the ‘check’ time or recently if you didn’t submit the forms?
By the way have the decisions come out earlier in the previous years, like the Friday preceding May 1st, is that why everyone is saying decisions tomorrow?</p>
<p>i got into unc and cannot take waiting until may 1st!!! really hope the decisions come out tomorrow. i didn’t apply for financial aid but i’ve had a check for a while. crossing fingers.</p>
<p>I think they try to release on Fridays so things calm down over the weekend before their office gets flooded with calls, questions, etc.</p>

<p>@speddy93 I never got a letter in the mail O_O did you get the email from UVA as well? I got my check April 15th and just got my to-do’s this week. I started with one to-do and then 4 more got added to it. </p>

<p>I don’t think the to do list has anything to do with your decision. It just means they have already processed your financial aid application.</p>
