<p>I think they might come out tomorrow, like Chicago did. That way the adcoms have a whole weekend before they get deluged with complaints/questions about decisions.</p>

<p>I got into Early Decision for Rice this year, and esther was out like at least 10 minutes before the email for me. To me, it seemed like they waited until the last possible minute to send it out on Dec. 15th, that way no one could complain until the next day (which was a Wed. I believe). Anyway, GOOD LUCK to everyone, and I know all the other ED kids can’t wait to meet everyone!:)</p>
<p><— is on pins and needles. I maintained a 4.75 GPA for 2/4 quarters but who knows if that will be enough. Rage at California budget cuts. Finally got into enough APs senior year but I don’t even know if it will matter. At least the classes are interesting :).</p>

This is so bad… I’ve read too many good things about Rice on this forum (and before the whole college admissions process started). I love Houston too! So if I get rejected or waitlisted… man… it will be a sad, sad day in my house. :'[</p>

<p>yeah, in past years they’ve released on mondays, but this year it seems they are waiting until the last minute to release decisions

<p>@owls13: I am an int’l student. I must get a visa before May 15, which means that I have to determine which school to attend before April 15. and I must have enough time to prepare visa materials. (2 weeks at least I guess.) So I have to make choice as soon as possible.
