Rice is the only college that had everything i was looking for during my college search. Plus, its amazing!

Yeah, its where you can check you’re status and eventually your admissions decision.

https://webapps2.rice.edu/selfserve/twbkwbis.P_GenMenu?name=p_ugadmmenu

This is where you would login IF you did have a id and password… I would email undergrad admissions and just say you never remember receiving one

For son:

1) Rice, CalTech, Stanford, Rochester, Lawrence, Wisconsin

2) Rochester (scholarship), Wisconsin, Lawrence (scholarship), waitlisted at CalTech

3) Loved the visit, res colleges, strong engineering/computer science programs

It would be great if decisions came out this week, but I don’t think anyone should count on it.

SMU, Baylor, A&M, UT, SLU, Creighton, Drexel, Notre Dame EA, WUSTL

All of them but UT (waitlisted/capped & I still don’t know why). Rice is the last one to hear from.

It has biomed engineering, it’s in Texas, good people, and it’s the right size.

I’ll be extremely surprised if I get into Rice. I only wrote one, single, measly sentence for the “why this major” essay. I thought it was short answer, so I bet they had a laugh when they saw my “essay.” Plus, after seeing that my own state flagship hates me, I’m not expecting anymore good news from within the state of Texas. Eh, I hope the decision comes out this week. Even if it’s a rejection, I hate the stress of waiting.

Brown, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, WashU St. Louis, Vanderbilt, Emory, URochester

Emory (scholarship), URochester (scholarship + research grant), waitlisted from WashU :(

Godfather went there, Res colleges, focus on undergraduates w/ strong research, Sheppard School of Music, easy to major in more then one degree, Beer Bike (lol)

@Churd23 - Thanks for the info. I actually just searched through my email archive and found my ID and PIN. Wow, I feel smart right now?

So if our decisions are going to be posted online…what section of the website?

For those who are seeing this thread now… This is the original question! Let this roll.

WHICH OTHER COLLEGES DID YOU APPLY TO?

WHERE DID YOU GET ACCEPTED SO FAR?

WHY DID YOU APPLY TO RICE?

For my son:
1- Rice, Harvey Mudd (top choice), Caltech, Colorado College, Case, Rose-Hulman, Colorado School of Mines, WUStL

2 - Caltech, Colorado College, Case, Rose-Hulman, Colorado School of Mines, Waitlisted at WUStL

3 - Happy HAPPY people when we visited, tons of research, smart kids, residential college system, small school with undergrad focus, good science with good humanities as well
