That’s sadly amusing since the current mayor of Houston (the 4th largest city in the USA) is openly lesbian and a graduate of Rice University.</p>

<p>i got the exact same response from the kids at my school. but its probably because they live in the middle-of-nowhere blue-state midwest and have no clue that houston, texas is waaay more interesting and bustling than this boring little part of the U.S.</p>
