<p>If I got into Rice, I’d run through the halls of my home and hug anyone I saw. I’d also call everyone I knew, and then have a big gathering with lots of brownies and cake or something.</p>
<p>If I didn’t get in, I’d still eat a lot of brownies or cake or something. Just no frolicking with joy.</p>

<p>If it is not this week, and actually next week, its going to suck for me and also anyone who applied to Rice from my school because we’ll be on spring break.</p>
<p>If I get into Rice I’ll be happy but not overjoyed since I haven’t visited/don’t have a good picture of what Rice is actually like. But if I get into Rice and somehow get a merit scholarship I’ll be pretty gosh darn happy :)</p>

<p>Yeah I’m going to be out of town when most of my decisions are released next week, but most of them are online so its okay - but the one or two by snail mail are going to drive me insane</p>
<p>I’ll be really happy if I got in with a scholarship, really really happy if I got in with just a Rice/Baylor scholarship, and supremely happy if I got in with both the scholarship and interview!</p>

<p>Ivies don’t release decisions until April 1st.</p>
<p>will decisions be posted on any day between now and april 1st (latest) or will they send an email saying what day they will post?</p>
<p>they certainly won’t tell us exactly when they will be released. just know they will arrive before april 1st. i went through the whole waiting by the computer phase during ED, and it didn’t do me any good. so, my advice would be to check it daily at around 5:00 if you want, and other than that, go about your business. it will save you a lot of unnecessary worry.</p>
<p>Haha agreed. A wk before ED decisions were scheduled to be posted, I was one of the kids who would spend the entire day on Esther hoping to find a decision notification. Honestly, and I used to hate when others would tell this to me this truth, it’s not worth your time. I’m assuming that since they waited until the latest possible time to post ED decisions (5:00 pm on Dec 15) they will do the same with RD, considering that they are rumored to have a record number of applicants. Check daily at 5:00 pm in order to calm your nerves, but otherwise dont stress-out about it…</p>
<p>I have a feeling that Rice will release decisions earlier than the Ivies.</p>
