Jersey, that’s a lot of money to put down on the game hahah

I think that Germany will win tomorrow.

Same. Germany tomorrow (err today now that it’s 12:40 AM EST) and Spain on Sunday IMO.

Come on urugay!!!

alam1

My team, South Korea, never even played Netherlands.

Of course I watched the game, and there was a heavy amount of luck involved for the Dutch. The first goal was in part thanks to a ref missing Van Bommel stomping, and through this whole tournament, van bommel has been bullying around; there are many times he should’ve been sent off.

Robben is very good, no doubt about that. I love watching his feet during runs. But he’s similar to Ronaldo in that, he’s a great player, but he just loves diving and acting. Fool may not be the right word, but praising someone for their diving is something you don’t do either.

I’m staying up and I feel quite tired now.

I hope Germany wins!

“I’m staying up” + “Where I have yet to be SAT-isfied” = Asian

This game so far is approximately 10^7 times better than the Germany-Spain one.

I’m still expecting Germany to win this…

It’s been a great game so far. I can understand why some of the fans are booing Suarez, but it might be a bit much

^lol I think the booing is pretty funny, but I feel bad for Suarez

^Eh…to be honest, I don’t. Just felt that it was a dirty way to ‘win’ against Ghana.

Still, Uruguay played well today, and the whole tournament for that matter

Correction: 10^19 times better.

^^It was definitely a cheap shot, but I think anyone in his position would’ve done it. To keep his country in the world cup, he just needed to block that ball. Simple as that. And Ghana still messed up on penalty kicks. (I was rooting for Ghana that game)

^But still, the game meant soo much for Ghana and for Africa. What’s worse about what he did was that he started celebrating after Ghana missed the penalty kick as if he had scored a winning goal. I suppose it’ll take some time to get over, but I still feel like he robbed Ghana (and Africa) of a victory that day.

I think he’s somewhat lucky that he wasn’t suspended a 2nd match.

“The game meant soo much for Ghana and for Africa.” -> And Uruguayans don’t care at all about football?

“What’s worse about what he did was that he started celebrating after Ghana missed the penalty kick as if he had scored a winning goal.” -> He pretty much did.

I’m glad that Germany won.

Of course not. I just think that the game mattered more for Ghana and Africa.
No, he didn’t.
Me too. It was a great overall match

“No, he didn’t.” -> How is blocking a certain goal not equivalent to scoring a goal?
