haha, I second theoneo’s idea.

Haha, thanks. Wait, are you still a junior? If not, you should really update your username haha.

yeah, I’m a senior. do you know if there is any way to change the username without getting a brand new account?

I don’t think there is. Someone tell me if I’m wrong

well this is my first post EVER on this website, and from the looks of it, i would guess you guys are going to be my new best friends for the next 3.5 months. would anyone mind telling me where on cc i should start looking? there is so much information here, it’s almost overwhelming. i am applying scea to yale, so i thought this might be a good place to ask. good luck to everyone applying!

juniorinhs - no, you can’t change your username. You could, though, start a new account and include a link to the profile for this account in your new profile. And leave a link for your new profile in the profile of this account. Haha that sounds funny.

Has anyone started writing essays yet?!

Ohh yeah, I’m all over those :)

All over? Haha, damn. I’m just getting started!

haha, yea I wrote one… What are u writing urs on?

How my two loves of Peach Cobbler and Jessica Alba relate…

haha seriously?

mm. peach cobbler ON jessica alba.

mmmmmm…

haha you guys are silly. i started my essay, but only because it was an assignment at the end of junior year and i struck gold with my topic. i’m still going to edit it, but i’m pretty sure it’ll be my common app essay. i haven’t started the additional one yet…

500 words is a pain, but the fun essay is the 50 word one in the Yale Supplement!

It’s wierd. I found the 500 word essay a pain because I was limited at so few words, but the 50 word essay was fun to write because it was so short…if that makes any sense…

I actually understand waht you mean. I haven’t done the 50 word one yet, but I have a feeling it’ll be easier, cause its just some little itty bitty shpeal, while in the actual essay you have to convey some sort of big epiphany or life changing experience, and show that you belong in Yale… in just 500 words

well i wasn’t originally going to sign up for this- i’ve just been reading the threads and getting an idea of my chances at schools i like, but everyone seems so supportive and down to earth that i decided to join~
so, this post has 2 real reasons i guess, to 1- see if my post shows up and 2-introduce myself
so hey from texas, looking forward to talking with yall

I just wanted to say hello to everybody. I’ve been “lurking” for a while just to see how things work, but today I decided to get an account to ask a question on another thread. Having done that, I decided to come over here, introduce myself, and say that I am applying SCEA to Yale. Good luck to everyone and I hope to see you guys next year (crossing my fingers).
