via US postal service?
D24 - Same! Congrats!
Yes - it came in the mail today - actual letter
ugh nothing here yet
Yes, USPS letter. By the way, the Ohio State NPC calculator predicted the amount correctly.
Assume you all are out of state like me right?
Yes.
Hi thereā¦
We havenāt used the Ohio State NPC Calculator yet. Did it predict scholarship merit correctly, or just financial aid correctly? Just want to get an idea what it covers. Sounds like I should try it. Thanks in advance for the feedback.
We wonāt get need-based aid and used a very high EFC - so it just predicted the merit amount. Correctly.
Perfect thanks! We havenāt received any merit yet so stalking the mailbox - haha! Maybe will check the NPC to see what that says. Thank you for responding:)
For the merit letters for out of state students, does anyone know percentage of kids that get some merit vs no merit? And do amounts vary?
Yes. I believe the amounts vary for OOS applicants. The Buckeye is UP TO $13,500 and I believe the Maximus, Provost and Trustee are 1k, 2k, or 3k. I THINK, but not certain these last 3 are based on test scores. So, test optional may not receive the 1-3k additional. I could be wrong about this, but was just told this. Higher the score, closer to 3k. Higher the grades, closer to 13,500. Can anyone confirm this?
From what I understand the Buckeye Scholarship is all or nothing and is $13.5k - for OOS only.
Very helpful. Any idea what percentage of students out of state receive it?
I am not sure and not sure if GPA or test score (if submitted) more important
We got son signed up a few weeks ago for Fisher Friday but didnāt get any confirmation email. Did anyone else get confirmation after signing up? Want to be sure we didnāt mess it up.
We did get a QR code I think via email. Email them about it
Found it buried it my email - phew! Seems all the Fisher Fridays are all booked up now.
There is a Class of 2028 Parent Group on Facebook:
May I ask - for those OOS students who were recently awarded the Buckeye Scholarship, what was your students GPA? And did you submit test scores?
