DS received letter in mail today with Buckeye Scholarship. Letter was dated Feb 20. No Maximus or Provost. Stats were 29 ACT and 4.1 W GPA - high school does not provide class ranking. He is ready to commit!!

If he is not in a scholars program, he should consider applying for a living learning community.
If you do scholars can you not pick a roommate who is not in the scholars program.
āScholars students will be matched with roommates from their Scholars Program and will not be able to bring in non-Scholars roommates.ā

My child almost certain she wants to attend, but we really are hoping for merit. Do you think accepting hurts the chances of receiving Buckeye Scholarship? or helps? We were holding out for merit, but I also donāt want to wait too long for housing purposes. Torn on what to do.

I asked the same question and responses I got was accepting wonāt hurt merit so we accepted. Responses were from folks on this site so nothing official tho
At Buckeye Bound today they said all merit has been sent so any remaining would be en route via US mail at this point.

Oh nelly! So if we donāt received in a few days its not happening! Ugh!! I will remain hopeful! Last email we received it said through March.

Thanks! Other threads are indicating all offers are out for general merit scholarships. Will be interested if that is not the case. But guessing this is winding down and quickly.
I called Buckeye Link today and was told that all merit scholarships were out and that unfortunately we will not be receiving 
did they look you up specifically?
Yupā¦they looked up by name. When I called 3 weeks ago they looked up name and told us she is currently being considered. You might want to callā¦maybe you have one on the way that got out the door or going out. I am sure they can tell you since they were able to look up and tell me. Unfortunately, mine just didnāt make the cut off. She was test optional so that didnāt help. Good luck
