I doubt it! I can’t imagine they have the resources to monitor things that closely

What were her reaches?

S26 got $13.5K/yr merit. Fisher, OOS.
1490 SAT, 3.7UW-4.1W GPA. 9APs+3DEs, Decent ECs & Essays.

This makes it his top choice for now. Registered for Mar 7 event.

ND Mendoza, UVA, UNC, and Florida. She’s waiting on Cornell. But UVA and UNC are not direct admit into business school and she thinks ND is too small. Besides UVA she hasn’t seen any of those schools, so OSU is still in the running.

Did you open it on a phone or computer? The letter didn’t open on a phone for my daughter.

That’s incredible! What state are you in and what are her stats/ ECs

Letter didn’t open on phone but I had called to ask another question yesterday about your and they told me

No email yet either

I think they send a letter through snail mail.

In-state for UVA. But they don’t have direct admit into business school and with the scholarship, OSU is just a little more expensive. She has a 1560, 4.0 UW, 14 AP/DEs. Very good ECs, but probably not good enough for Cornell.

You mentioned Florida. Any insight on that?

I don’t, except that UF gave my daughter very good merit and it’s $10k/year cheaper than UVA in-state. But my D26 doesn’t want the south because it’s too warm for her. OSU would be perfect weather for her.

So happy to report that our child received Provost ($2K per year) and National Buckeye ($13,500 per year). Stats: OOS, Psychology, 4.4 w, 16 APs (all 4s and 5s), 35 ACT, varsity sports, good ECs, Great essays.

Now we have our fingers crossed for scholars.

Good luck to everyone else waiting to hear!!!

My son was told by OSU that if merit is not in the portal by now, our kid would not be getting any:(. :broken_heart: . I don’t think we can justify OOS cost w/o merit. Ugh:(

how much aid do you need to consider OSU?

Same boat here!

We were hoping just for the Buckeye Scholarship for $13.5k, which is still spendy, but we could have made it work. Maybe we can look at a scholarship universe. I wonder if anyone lucks out with that?
