Does anyone mind sharing stats for whoever received merit? Still holding out hope:) We are OOS.
Merit aid: Buckeye $13500 / yr
I don’t know whether they consider intended major while assigning Financial aid.
My D26, received Maximus = $3K and National Buckeye = $13.5K. 1560, 4.0 UW, 14 AP/DE classes, 5s on the 7 AP tests she took. Very good ECs.
For anyone that already has a student at OSU or is familiar with the rental market…. for off campus housing that is in a good and safe area within easy walking distance from campus, what is the the price range we should budget for ? (Trying to see what we should budget for second year)
Also, typically, how early do leases get signed ?
Same here!!!
Still holding out OOS here too
Ours just came
Can someone screen shot where this may be in the portal of elsewhere? TY
New tile showed up on portal
I think students are required to live on campus for 2 years. So no rush to sign a lease in the fall.
So it wasn’t there 2hrs ago? Maybe we can still have hope:)
If you get nothing in your portal, is there a chance that they will give it to you later on as the month goes on or are you not getting any money?
Not sure wondering myself, frustrating.
My son just checked his portal and got $13,500 per year. OOS, 34 ACT, 3.95 UW GPA.
Son still waiting OOS MN
4.0 GPA UW
35 ACT
7 AP’s/3 Honors
Great EC’s
Unsure about Merit Aid, does it all come out at one or rolling overtime
Surprised about you, given how you have a very competitive kid who could have prolly applied to other top business schools and had a competitive chance. I have a a 1430 SAT (730 Math and 700 English) and had a 3.7 W gpa and a 3.5 UW gpa and have taken 5 (10 this year) AP classes and 5 honors classes.
I don’t think she’ll end up at OSU since she did end up getting into a few of her reach schools. We all loved OSU and Fisher, so who knows. She hasn’t visited the other schools yet.
Did anyone who got merit already put down a deposit? I am wondering if this hurt the chances of merit. Guess will never know:(
Maybe harder for FYE, who knows
