I would lean toward agreeing with how you are thinking about the scenario
sounds like no email with a decision today is pulling up rejections but again, CC is just a small subset of the real world
No one has been admitted yet in general.

imo using all 3 is a nice chunk of chatter and “data” to work with
zeemee are only students and very user friendly on a cell with most applicants are staring at
cc is a mix of students and parents - more so parents it seems
reddit are a mixed bag and it’s not great on a phone so
i am in state chem major. did not get an email because im an established CCP student

If you are rejected and you applied EA, unfortunately, yes, you cannot apply RD because you were rejected. If you were deferred, then your application would be moved to RD to be considered in the regular decisions round.
