yes already had an email linked to the portal
also already had duo account set up because other schools use it too
looks like if you got the email today, you will receive a decision later today
A decision or an acceptance. Why would OSU ask you to create an email address if you were deferred or rejected?

They have never sent these emails before this year, so we don’t know for sure what it means yet decision wise. We will see.

my student is neither of those majors and received the email.
True. I am just trying to use logic and resource management logic too w/the time for folks to set up emails…

Same, I applied for CS and Engineering and got the email today. Idk if the email has any importance at all.
it said it was down but if you plugged in the email address they gave you in that email and entered the password for the portal it then all worked.
the email account simply has the same exact email they received to their personal address, now sitting in this buckeye outlook account. that’s it.
Has anyone asked buckeyelink about this?
It might be the case, but no one should assume they got in because of the email. It is only a good sign, not a guarentee.

My son got the email this morning but not the duo sign up whatever that is. I’m just curious if these emails have gone out in years past.
