By meeting the early action deadline, you’ll get an admission decision on either December 13 (Ohio residents and Stamps Eminence applicants) or January 24 (non-Ohio residents and international applicants).
Sometimes these schools release in waves with little notice, so you never know. But officially it is January 24.

IS, W 3.78/4, SAT 1440, 3 AP (AP Scholar), Pre-Aerospace Engineering.
Great ECs, including service and a 2-year NASA internship.

Good luck! Mine is in state and pre aero also. Similar stats and EC. 35 ACT/36 STEM but “only” 4 AP and 3 Dual enrollment. Hope it’s enough. They usually don’t start rolling them out until after the school day I think in years past most decision decisions came out between 5 and 11 PM.

My daughter just tried to sign in her Buckeyemail student account and was able to login. She tried 2 days ago, yesterday, and this morning, and got a message that it wasn’t a valid account. So there must be something to that!

No clue. Anyone else have the portal being really wonky and slow right now? Maybe they’re making the updates?

It is likely due to the massive amount of traffic, with everyone checking their admission status.

I thought the Stamps Eminence is also announcing decisions today.
It is a very big university. They are potentially updating 15000+ accounts with decisions. Might take hours …

My daughter’s says the same. I’m curious if there are acceptances out this early or are they only deferred?
D’s status says it’s undergoing second review. “You will be informed of a final decision no later than March 31.” She has not received any email.
I do remember in the fall 2022 cycle, they could not complete all the EA apps by the deadline and deferred quite a few to RD. Hopefully that is not the case here and the portal is still updating.

I think they can get denied as well because we’ve already heard of a couple from our high school that got rejections earlier today.
