Mine is still in review

Did you click on application? Does it say deferred?

nope

I’m seeing the same. After researching more, it looks like unless everything is submitted by the November 1 deadline, they consider it a regular decision.
annoying, because it’s not in my hands when my school sends the transcripts.
I will call them tomorrow to double-check.

It is unfortunate, because OSU was a strong consideration for me, but now given other EAs I got back, I likely won’t even consider it anymore regardless of the outcome

You should only pay the acceptance fee if you are ready to commit to OSU. It is true that housing contracts go out in the order that the acceptance fee was paid, but that doesn’t get you a better dorm as the poster above pointed out. Freshman don’t pick their dorm, housing assigns their dorm. And since the housing contract is usually due two weeks after it is sent to you, you might end up needing to submit that as well before you are actually ready to commit whole heartedly. There isn’t any hurry. As long as you commit by the deadline, and remember to return your housing contract by its deadline, you’ll get housing. You don’t need to commit or even be accepted yet to apply for their LLCs.

The Scholarship Universe priority deadline (Feb 15) is approaching. If Ohio State is a top choice remember to apply. Most of the OSU Colleges and Department scholarships use it. You can double check your college and department to see if they use it. Alumni scholarships are on it as well.

we paid the hundred dollar deposit and accepted even though she’s not sure. My son was in Lawrence last year and it was a nightmare and that was tier one! That’s the dorm that had the mushrooms growing out of it this year lol. I would definitely consider accepting paying $100 and then you can always rescind if you change your mind.

Deferred kids can’t use that correct?

My kid applied to the Morrill scholarship. When would he know if there is a chance or not. If that is not feasible will the other scholarships offered by Ohio State be available? If so when and how does he find out? Thanks

from the link in the post " 1. Once you apply for admission to Ohio State and get your OSU username (name.#) and password, create your ScholarshipUniverse account. To protect your information, you first must accept Ohio State’s privacy policy."

Like the LLC application it doesn’t seem to me like you need to be accepted to apply, especially since the priority deadline to apply is before many students will receive an admission offer. But I don’t work for the university, so if you want to be sure ask them directly.

Are you deferred, but unable to apply?

It works, but since S25 is deferred, the questions don’t really make sense. Maybe he needs to fill it out like if he was admitted and attending. (Like when it asks what school he’s attending, etc.)

Where did he live sophomore year?

Nosker Hall, great dorm!
