One more question for you, did they say or were you able to tell about how many kids were invited for Distinction?
New here so sorry if asked a million times, but is housing priority based on when you put down a housing deposit?
Around 100 are interviewing, with 30 to 40 ending up receiving the Distinction award.

It was hard to tell from the room since it was filled with families but not everyone was there because some will interview virtually. But I heard the same thing that Buckeye Dad said

Did anyone else get the email regarding Morrill housing? Trying not to read into it. My daughter interviewed today, was advised that notifications will go out by next Friday.

You will have the other tier at minimum if you interviewed for distinction and you donât have to be distinction for the Morrill LLC

We got a phone call yesterday, my daughter was awarded the distinction scholarship. So exciting!

I know, they called my daughter, and she happened to be out of school on the way to our state capital for a meeting for one of her student clubs. She doesnât even remember who called just said it was a man. She was in shock.

Congrats! My daughter got the call yesterday too! Did they give you more info on exactly what it covers and how much? My daughter was too excited and nervous to ask any questions.

Same, like do they have to pay an enrollment fee?? My daughter doesnât even remember the name of who called and the portal is not super helpful. We are 99% sure are accepting. Waiting on 3 other schools but doubtful they come with a full COA scholarship.
Has anyone received OOS merit award? assuming that ship has sailed this late?

We are OOS and called last week since our sonâs stats seemed to be above what is normally given merit and admissions confirmed that merit is all distributed so if you did not hear, you are not getting it.

Hello! Iâm wondering how many EA applicants have heard about Scholars placements. My son did not apply to Honors because he preferred the idea of Scholars. He got the form to rank and completed it and has not heard anything yet. Iâm assuming itâs probably not going to happen if he hasnât heard by now; is that correct? He was interested in the Business, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and Mt. Leadership programs.
Hey! I applied EA and got the email to rank my preferences on 12/17. Then I got the email that I was accepted into my first choice program for STEM on 01/10!

Thatâs great! Congratulations! My son is OOS so he didnât hear of acceptance until 1/24, but if you heard less than a month after filling out the form, that makes me think he would have heard by now if he was accepted into a Scholars program. Thanks for replying with the dates! And again, Congrats!
