Our S25 just found out tonight he was accepted into the Engineering Scholars program!

Sorry for any confusion. We were in state EA, but just found out yesterday about scholars.
Fyi- my son received an email notification late last night that he had been accepted into the Honorās program (in-state student, already accepted into Fisher). So apparently these are starting to roll out for anyone who was wonderingā¦

my pre-aerospace got into his second choice scholars a few days ago which is humanitarian engineering. He preferred regular engineering scholars. Same dorm (Drackett)

Humanitarian Engineering was one of our options, sounds like a good program that will build social skills! I can attest that engineers NEED social skills and to think outside their field of study. Congrats!

I just noticed that my sonās financial aid is updated with an eligble year and a clickable button for the aid package (of which he gets nothing from FAFSA but we knew that). It wasnāt there yesterday and seems odd to have if heās not getting accepted, but who knows. One more day to wait!

Where are you seeing this? Is it in the application portal or the my.osu.edu portal?
i saw it 2 days back in my kids portal. I think it is just a reflection of processed FAFSA submissions which may be default for all those who completed FAFSA. We also donāt qualify for any aid but submitted it so that just in case.
Does your sonās say Summer 2025-Spring 2026? Wondering about the summer part. If my daughter gets in for summer start, she wouldnāt want to do that.
Yes same Summer 2025-Spring 2026. I thought that is how FAFSA cycle operates. If others have it different as Fall ā¦ then it might mean something

My sonās account says exactly the same as you described. It just switched today. It also says the FASFA information was received by Ohio States on January 21.
