Oklahoma teens murder out of boredom

say, WHAT???/

^^ I wasn’t the only one?

I have great meaning in my life and my forum participation. I also think it is self-evident that my whole purpose in posting here is to wage a vicious and protracted war of words with 07DAD. The rest of you are collateral damage.

Medic! … M-E-D-I-C!!!

CREAM

Whew, wow, far out!

zoosermom–I see your “vicious and protracted words” and raise you 1. May your clarinet reed be stinky, etc.!

^ Thank for labeling us sooo nicely, we really appreciate your assessment. Let’s see what happens next…maybe this will close it…it will be your own fault though, nobody to blame…it is getting too late on Friday, that is for sure…

Oh yeah? And may your son be a a a a LAWYER!!!

I just want him back from Kenya safe and sound.

Speaking of which, I’m heading up to Oklahoma this weekend. I seem to remember that Timothy McVeigh intentionally killed men, women and children in Oklahoma City cause he hated the government. To me killers are killers.

I have always wondered what the opposite of a hate crime was. A love crime?

Agreed.

I hate it when people try to shut down threads. It’s really disgusting. If people don’t like threads, then don’t read or post on them. It’s really that simple.

Hmmm, I understood exactly what MiamiDAP was saying.

Regarding Miami:

We are, as a nation, the cumulative being of our laws. Of the people, for the people, by the people.

We, as a nation, can overcome anything.

And I am a cynic at heart.

And now back to the thread…

It is interesting that you mention this. What about killings to “show” the nation?
[FBI ? Sovereign Citizens](http://www.fbi.gov/stats-services/publications/law-enforcement-bulletin/september-2011/sovereign-citizens)

How do we “rate” killers? Is killing for boredom, for race hatred or for ideology somehow different?

Soverign citizens are not terrorists, they are gang members like the three in this case. They target law enforcement but usually not those elected such as sheriffs. They use their nutty political views to justify their crimes. Very scary people.

Another senseless killing. You start to get the point that for each of the 17,000 yearly homicides, there is someone who has to grieve their loss. I know, I know, where is the immediate outrage from the president. Maybe the president should make 46 statements of outrage each day to account for all of the killings. We are a dangerous society and our media will pick and choose the deaths that will produce the highest viewership.

Well, we certainly have decided that there are different types of murder as our laws have a number of variables. First degree, second degree, manslaughter etc.

We also have decided that each state has the power to enact laws for penalties for murder. I find it so interesting that the death penalty is decided by states.

sax–

I was addressing moral culpability. If there are three killers. All engaged in intentional and premeditated murder, is the motivation of one more “horrible” than the others?

There is a federal death penalty for certain federal crimes regardless of the state’s position on the matter.

There are many more countries that are much more dangerous than ours.

The sovereign citizens are very scary people.

Is the murderer of an innocent jogger the same as the murderer of ones child’s kidnapper and rapist?

I would say no. But others would say murder is murder regardless.

Oh, and the whole sovergn citizens thing …scares the crap outta me.

Sax, all of the countries listed above the US are far less developed. It’s like saying that since the US’ infant mortality rate is far lower than that of Burundi’s, we’re therefore doing a great job. Well sure we are in comparison, but let’s see how we do against other, similarly prosperous nations (the answer is not well.)

Also, how did they collect the data for North Korea?
