I was on a high school baseball web message board looking at the college recruiting info when someone mentioned this site. Checked it out a few times and became addicted. Very good information. “G Mom” often wonders how I know so much about the college admission process! I believe S1 is a regular lurker. I can’t get S2 interested and he’s the one that needs it!

Last Monday night I Googled PSAT. I found your site just in time to use one of the links to access PSAT scores on the collegeboard website. Thanks to everyone! I am a convert.

donnagal—first a convert, next an addict. But, it’s a fun ride!

Google search

Hmm…didn’t someone post a link or something on PR a long while ago? I recall learning about CC from a PR post. To be honest, don’t recall at all how I learned about the PR boards…brain lapse.

Migrated from the USNews site. No comparison.

I was searching for information on athletic recruiting and this site came up.

Which is acutally pretty funny because of the dim view many here take on that subject.

Googling EA reply dates in December of 2004. Lurked until 2005. Hooked on the rare experience of mostly highly literate discussions. And what seems to be a genuine community of mostly warm-hearted people.

One year ago, in the midst of D1’s college search, I was browsing through the Princeton Review 's message board site, when I noticed a link to this message board. Until then, I had no idea this forum existed, but I’ve been hooked on this site ever since. I especially like how active each of the CC college-specific sub-forums are, compared to P.R.'s --most of which seem to no posts whatsoever.

Who me? An addict? I am not addicted. I am not addicted. I am not addicted to CC. I do find myself spending inordinate amounts of time on the site, not watching re-runs of my (previously) favorite TV shows, and not even snacking…but I am NOT an addict!

Hmmm…

yeah, donna…I’m with you. I could quit CC anytime I want to!

Back when S was a junior in high school, I googled National Merit and found CC. That was over four years ago now. I love this place.

I found it while looking for info about colleges where my D was accepted last spring. I wish I knew about it earlier! It sure would have helped me guide her thru the process. Now I am here almost every night.

Insomnia may have brought us here; now it’s the root of the insomnia.

I’m sure I found it through some google search, probably when D1 was looking at schools in 2003, although I didn’t sign up for quite a while later.

When I found out that I was being considered for a USC scholarship, I think my mom googled for more information and found CC. She’s a dedicated lurker, and I’m the active member of the family. Good times! That was spring of 05.
