Olive Garden for Prom?

Is Olive Garden fancy-ish enough for Prom? It is either that or The Cheesecake Factory or Abuelo’s or Bucca di Peppo or P.F. Chiang’s. Which is the fanciest? Which do YOU suggest? Thanks…

ive only heard of olive garden and cheesecake factory, and cheesecake factory is fancier. ru a class prez deciding where to go for prom? cuz dinner is served at our prom. for prom itself, id suggest a country club, yacht, or an aquarium (we had our junior prom at an aquarium, it was cool).

Nooo lol I’m just wondering where myself, my date, and a few of our friends should go. Dinner isn’t served at our prom.

ohhhhhh ok. actually you might look out of place in prom clothes at olive garden or cheesecake factory. shrug depends how much money ur willing to shell out.

Find your city, find a restaraunt that is kinda formal.

cheesecake factory and pf changs are both pretty upscale restaurants and are both really good.

pf changs all the way! it is soooo delicious!

You don’t have to find somewhere fancy (especially when you consider paying for it). My group’s going to Ninfa’s, mostly because it’s “our” place, and we always have so much fun there. Above all, make sure the place has good food, haha. Nothing worse than throwing up all over your nice tux or pretty dress…

I would suggest Cheesecake Factory.

i think i am going to the cheese cake factory with some friends

i definitely wouldn’t call any of these restaurants fancy, but they are fine as i doubt anyone will expect you to spend over $50 or so for two.

cheesecake factory! Yeah, I wouldn’t reccomend PF changs for a night like prom since they don’t have reservations and you would have to wait a pretty long time to get in…

I would pick PF Chang’s- it’s darn classy and I think perfect for a prom- exotic yet perfect… ooo…

what city are you in? there might be other choices…

pf chang’s is gross… i need authentic chinese food. pf chang’s is like the most unchinese chinese restuarant haha

I think the issue is that you want to go somewhere you’ll feel comfortable being dressed up. At Cheesecake Factory or Olive Garden you’ll be sitting next to people in shorts! What about a not too expensive non chain?

Okay, here in San Francisco, the Cheescake Factory mistreats its employees. And has some of the same practices around the country. So that would nix it for my daughter…

what does cheesecake factory do to its employees ?

Yeah, citygirlsmom, what did they do to their employees? Sometimes people in the Bay Area tend to be too activist for my tastes.

ooh, don’t go to Olive Garden because (at least where I live), they don’t take reservations, so there’s a huge wait…
