Once you have been admitted...what are the next steps?

I have submitted all the apps and I’ve been admitted to my ed school. Do I just relax and wait for the rest of the decisions to come out? Should I start preparing any docs now or only when I get an actual package (as well fin aid info) from school?

Could anybody tell me briefly the sequence of events and procedures after the admission? Thanks :)

If you have been admitted ED then decisions from other schools shouldnt matter since ED is binding. If you were a US student you would be obligated to contact other colleges and withdraw your application. If you really want to be active - contact the admissions dept and find out what you should do, but pretty much nothing except sign the contract once it arrives. You can also contact the Fin Aid people and find out when that package is coming. Btw - Congratulations and how do you know you are in if you havent received an actual package?

Oh I made a mistake, I was admitted through early action!! They emailed me the decision and they told me I should wait for the package to come at the end of Feb.

anybody? please!

Try to wait and relax. There’s nothing to be done right now. Your formal offer of admission will contain instructions for the next steps, if you wish to accept the offer at that time.

congrats. which school was it and where are you from?

I just thought of one thing that you could do right now. Most colleges will ask you to submit health forms with a medical history before you arrive on campus. See if you can find the forms on your school’s website (check the health center website) and check if there are any mandatory vaccinations that you have not had.

You don’t need to complete the actual forms yet. Just check the vaccinations. Some of them entail multiple doses over several months, so it’s good to get a head start.
