Online classes effect your GPA?

<p>Hi, I was just wondering if I were to take some online classes this summer, they would go on my transcript and what not, but would they effect my GPA?</p>

<p>I realize this might change according to what school you go to, but I go to a rural public school and I’m just interested in finding out</p>
