<p>Hey CC community! I was wondering if University of Virginia was out of my reach, because of my relatively low GPA and weak ECs. Here goes!</p>

Class Rank: Top 10%
Course Rigor: I’ve taken the most rigourous classes our school has to offer (AP/Honors)
SAT: (superscored) CR: 750, Writing: 730, Math: 710, Superscored Composite: 2190
SAT II: Have not taken them yet.

Income Bracket: 30,000 and under.
Recs: My AP Microeconomics / AP Macroeconomics teacher is going to write my recommendation, and they should be excellent. He was also my coach, and I got an A+ in mirco, and a high A in macro. The guy loves me!
Ethnicity: Korean (born in Korea, came to the US @ age 4. Greencard obtained at age 14)
GPA Rant: My GPA is relatively weak, but there is a significant upward trend. My freshman year, I tried to be someone who I clearly was not, and my grades suffered because of it. My sophomore year was similar, but slightly better than freshman year. During my junior year, I decided to get my life back in order, and got straight As. I’m hoping to get straight As during my senior year as well. I’m going to emphasize this upward trend in my essay, (:</p>
