ok, im a freshman in high school this year…
im taking precalculus this year as a freshman. i’m thinking of taking calculus AB AP over the summer at CTD or CTY and take calculus II next year as a sophomore and take the ap calculus bc exam. the thing is, calculus 2 at my school isn’t an ap course becuase it goes a little beyond the ap curriculum.

so, will what i take in CTD or CTY show on my hs transcript? and also, is it a good idea to do what i’m planning on doing? thx

If you’re at a private school (If they have a class called Calc II then I feel like it probably is) then it’s a whole different situation, ask them what you should look at doing.

If you’re at a public school, they’re doing something very weird or the information you have on what they do is wrong. Either way, if you’re going to take Calc I over the summer (I presume those places you mentioned are colleges of some sort) then do that, take Calc II in the fall, Calc III in the winter (again, these at the college).

Atleast that’s what I would recommend, however what you’re saying doesn’t really make sense.
