DS22 will be attending GATech this Fall. We are floating around the idea of buying a condo in the midtown area as a rental property, with the thinking that kid can move there his sophomore year (F23). Any input on property managers and just general climate for condo rentals in the midtown area is welcome. I assume the housing restrictions in Atlanta are not as stringent as NYC, but I could be wrong (e.g. building approval for tenants, tenants’s rights etc.). We already own rental property in the Southwest and are familiar with what that entails. Looking for Atlanta specific info.
