Congrats! My S25 got an email saying a decision was waiting but he hasn’t opened it yet! He applied for Mechanical Engineering.
and he’s in! First acceptance. Phew!

D25 was accepted! S23 is currently an OSU sophomore and loves it. I suspect it’s a little too large for d25, but it’s great to have an early acceptance!
S25 just got an email. He applied for Political Science. OOS, but hoping for WUE acceptance. First acceptance for him!

Congratulations! D25 got her WUE notification a few weeks after her acceptance.
My son was accepted several weeks ago for Ecological Engineering. He was offered WUE at the same time, which is great. (We’re in CA and we all know how capricious the UCs are wrt engineering and impacted majors generally.) Thrilled he has this option and would love to learn more about OSU, engineering dept and Corvallis.

D25 got her acceptance today, but I don’t see any aid notification. Where would financial aid be noted? The Financial aid tab does not show anything at all. We are in California and hoping for WUE.
I asked my son how it went down. He says he got an email that said “you got a scholarship” shortly after acceptance (hours or days). He checked the portal and WUE was there. He didn’t have to do a separate application like at some schools.
My son got his WUE email a couple of days after acceptance letter.
Did anyone try changing majors after receiving acceptance? From the portal, it seems a very easy process - just provide the new major, and then in three days, they will give a response. It seems too easy. I assume if they deny the new major, you still get to keep the current major. Are there any FAQs about changing majors after acceptance (but before admission)? Thanks.
My student changed majors after admission. It was just a few clicks online, no approval required.

We’re just getting around to activating my daughter’s ONID (id number for email etc). Did anyone else have problems with that? We are getting an error message when we click the Beaver Basecamp link to activate.
